AUTO TO MANUAL TRANSMISSION
OK I HAVE A QUESTION. I WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO SWAP OUT AUTOMATIC TRANNY FOR A MANUAL? I KNOW I NEED THE MANUAL TRANNY. DUH, PLUS THE CLUTCH SETUP. WHAT ELSE WOULD I HAVE TO HAVE DONE? WHAT KIND OF COST WOULD I BE LOOKING AT TO THE CONVERSION? THATS IF ITS POSSIBLE. I HAVE 2001 GT.

hey thanks red. what key word should I use to find it? I already tried transmission conversion and that really didnt have much to help me out.

"manual automatic swap" should do. Also check the general tech section of the corral. There's recent stuff there too in 4.6 tech.
