why would a 2000 GT idle rough w/ the AC on, but not when its on "vent".
There are no obvious vacuum leaks, and it only happens when the climate control selection is set to certain positions. |

The AC compressor puts stress on the engine since it requires a certain amount of power to turn. Try unplugging your battery for 15 min, re-plug it, then for 10 minutes, do low speed driving w/ a good bit of idleing w/ the AC on and off. If that doesn't fix it, someone else can chime in...

Thanks |

I found its location...on the accumulator/dryer. When removing, does refridgerant escape?
