I recently installed a set of bbk pulleys on my 03 gt and the battery dummy light immediately showed, however the volt gauge reads fine has anyone else had this prob if so how did you remedy it or did you just live with it cause it drives me nuts

Try simply clearing the light. You can do this by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes or using a code reader. I bet it won't come back. It shopuld not be on.
