Hey guys, I want real answers please!
What do you guys suggest spark advance timing for a automatic 1998 gt (midly moddified) runs mostly on chevron 91 octane or shell 91 octane. I tune it with a diablo sport tuner. How many points should i advance it that will considered to be safe for my engine. I usually dont put octane boosters so if you guys could give me settings for with and without octane booster. I want honest answers please. My tuner goes in incraments of .5>1.0>1.5>2.0 THANK YOU |

for max power, advance until you hear pinging at WOT and then back it off a notch or two. If it starts bucking at low speed, back it off another notch. Old school method but it works.
