Mac Pro Chamber (99-04)
I was looking at this Mac pro chamber for my 02 mustang. Its the Black coating one with the chamber box. My stang has H&R springs on it now. Would I have a clearance problem with this pipe?
http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...g_1895_1461486 mustangtuning has it for 264.95. I'm just curious on everyones thoughts about this setup. Thanks PS: I also still have my stock manifolds and catback would this work with them? |
No clearence shouldn't be a problem and yes it will work. I had the pro-chamber with longtubes and a bent cat-back, scraped only once.
My mac h hangs a bit lower than the stock H but not much. You should be ok.
You will be fine with that setup.Alot of people have it with no problem's.
yea.....youll be good on the clearance, ive got the prochamber and eibach springs and ive never had any problems.
*you'll love the sound...good deep rumble. |
i'm running that setup, h&r, and the prochamber. you'll be fine, just take it very slow over small speed bumps, and stay out of parking garages!!
thanks guys for your thoughts.....

would a pro-chamber hook up to a flowmaster cat back system in place of the stock h pipe? (I have and 03 GT) or would i have issues with bolting the two together? one more thing, do MIL's go over the O2 sensor then its placed back into the h-pipe or left out? I found a how-to page on installing the pro-chamber, but it had no cats and it said to bolt the 02's back in but did not mention MIL's. would that trigger a check engine light?
thanks in advance.. |

haha a parking garage with a bad a** exhaust system is my favorite place
mine too, it's easy to set off alarms on all the Escalades and Yukon's and ricers
thanks guys....btw, any suggestion on which place sells top quality MIL's I have read threads before (not sure if there were here) about people installing MIL's and check engine lights still going off. but that could be the installer and not the part.
MIL's dont' always shut the light off and keep it off. I'd get a code reader that can reset CEL's as well.
