Cool Next Mod???

Ok so here's the deal I have my 2001 Bullitt with 23,000 mile son it currently (manual trans. of course) I have the following mods so far (performance):
1.Magnaflow Catback system
2.Mac Offroad Prochamber
3.SCT Xcalibrator 2 Tune
4.K&N Filter
5.Air Silencer Removed (I know it's does nothing be quiet!) LOL
So my question is what is th enext step for my performance with my baby Bullitt I know gears are good choice, but besides gear swhich i'm getting next X-mas what should my next mod be? I have a moderate amoutn of money but lets not go crazy. I can't afford cams a blower or nitrous or anything else crazy i'm talkin basic bolt ons etc. What is the next step in this performance puzzle???

well since you're a bullitt a TB and plenum is outta the question since you got the bullitt intake

maybe Longtube headers? or mid lengths? do you HAVE to pass emission inspections?

CAMS!

If you want some noticeable power and a nice sound then get some cams. Itll probably cost you 1,000 bucks in the end though. If you just have like $400 then id say buy a TB/Plenum combo. Headers will probably cost almost as much as cams would cost when you add all the labor. Id just save some money and get cams. 30-40+hp peak increase isnt bad.

My bonestock 2v engine had been through 2 years of NX 100 shot, 3 years running 8-12lbs vortech s-trim, got into boost daily while racing on the weekends, had 157,000 miles on it, and was running like new

He can't get a a TB/Plenum combo, but he can get a TB. That intake is already sweet.

cams and gears, otherwise focus on your crappy stock suspension. Look into some RLCA's from Maximum Motorsports or maybe a Panhard bar. You'll really like the benefits you get from every suspension upgrade. Stock stang suspension sucks, even bulllits have pretty much the same crud.

Drop in a set of FRPP C springs or some H&R super sports.

Whatever you do, do it right and don't cheap out. Get the good stuff.

Nitrous, its cheaper than you think and it will last. Long tubes will cost alot to install. Gears are pretty cheap to do. (For a car )

that brings a good point. Don't use Poly-urethane bushings at both ends of the upper control arms. They'll bind and worsen things. There's a spherical bearing available for the diff end which will help that and make things better. (I think steeda and MM both have the spherical bearing in their lists)

im running the steeda aluminum upper and lowers with no binding. you have to get the ones that have 2 different materials for the outer and inner part of the bushing. the spherical are nice, but noisy

I say get a MGW or Steeda Tri-Ax short throw shifter. It will make the car much more fun to drive. $179.00 and easy install that you can do yourself! If not that go with some suspension mods.
