I had a superchip tuner and would never buy one again, hell I wouldnt take one for free. I recommend saving up and getting a SCT chip and dyno tune. Or even just the chip with a free mail order tune.

I don't know much bout their initial setup, but I know they need the computer code of your vehicle when you buy one. Just ask the guy to let you try it before you buy it so you know it will work. Personally, I'd get the xcal2, i love mine with just 2 mail order tunes.

you dont need your computer code when you buy a superchip tuner they are a basic generic tune and wont help much, please dont buy it, you will be sad.

I was very happy with my SCT tuner. It may not have made much power but it cleaned up my AF and timing and smoothed the hell out of the thing. i'd have one again in a heartbeat but not at retail.

If I were to do it now, Xcal2 loaded with a custom tune. Then you're dialed in and have room to adjust when you need to.

Thats SCT were talking the other company called "superchips" there tunes are very genaric and not very powerful at all. SCT or Diablo is the way to go.

Ding... see what happens when you stop watching the chip market.. the companies fragment.

From what I'm told (just called up tuner buddy to find out) they used to be the same company... Superchips Custom Tuning is now basically the generic tune depot and SCT is the source for more flexible and custom tunes. I can't vouch for the accuracy but it seems logical.

XCal-2 has gotten a lot of compliments. Predator is hated by some and loved by others... dont know why.

That's the only thing that's universally agreed on. My tuner won't use anything but SCT.

the guys at "SCT" used to work for them then they left and started there own stuff that has gone alot farther then "superchips" has gone when it comes to avalibile peramiters you can change.

And "superchips" has nothing to do with "SCT".

Go with SCT not Superchips. SCT rocks!
