So yea I've got my wimpy little V6 and I'm gonna race a 96-99 Mustang GT, so even though the guy will notice, we're gonna pull a spark plug wire or two when he's not looking so I can beat him... is there a certain one or two that would be the least noticeable?

And this is just outta fun, we both know i would get spanked in a real race. Just thought it would be funny to pull a trick on him.

why would it wreck his engine?

The guy at ford that "fixed" my mustang forgot to put a couple of the spark plug wires back on and we were cruising down the road, it just ran rough. Didnt blow my engine.

EDIT: And someone did it to a kid at my school and he drove around for like 3 months that way.

I don't care how many horses you have under your hood, if your not firing on half your cylinders, there's no way you'd beat me in a race. And if you "beat me physically into the ground" for having a little fun, you're a spaz with no life. If it really did wreck your engine then you'd have an excuse to get mad.

One would make it run like crap. Better yet, would be if you could somehow change his rev limiter to something like 4,000 rpms.

If you must play childish pranks then don't pull a plug wire.This can cause the cylinder walls to get washed down with fuel ruining the rings and cylinder wall.Unhook an injector instead.
Best advice is not to f^#k with peoples cars.

In reference to # 2, I have almost gotten into fights with people for leaning against my car yet alone f*cking with anything under the hood. LOL He might STILL beat you in the race. If you only pull one plug. LOL. I knew a guy that had a sprayed 97 GT with ported heads and cams. He ran a high 7 second 1/8th mile running on only 7 cylinders. I thought he was a complete moron for actually spraying a car that was missing a cylinder. He had a dry system. I dont know how it held up but it was freakin FAST! You could hear the engine missing the whole way down the track though.

99-04 GT make 260 hp for 8 cylinders. Thats 32.5hp per cylinder. If you run the engine with 7 cylinders it will still put out 227.5 flywheel horsepower. Torque will be around 262 ft lbs. Thats if its a completely stock car. Your V6 doesnt make that much power.

Bottom line is if you only pull one wire you will still lose the race. LMAO. :foot:

Also you shouldnt mess with other peoples cars. You might think its just for fun but you just havent had your ass beat yet for it. Youll learn.

Wow there's a lot of people that need to chill out on this forum. If you get all pissed off over a prank why don't you run in front of a bus or something.

As I stated previously... we are racing just for the hell of it. BOTH OF US know he would waste my car in a race. And no my mouth didn't get ahead of my brain or car or whatever, I don't care if I lose. I never once said I would beat him, I told him "hey we should race even though I know you'll win" (cuz i'm not a sore loser like some of you) and someone else later came up with the idea of pulling a prank. I know I would lose just racing his car stock vs stock. And no I dont need to go buy nitrous to race the guy and beat him honestly... unlike some of you spazs, he won't blow up over a prank. It's called having a little fun. You know like "haha" "that was funny". And even if we pull a prank on him I'll still race him again stock and let him beat me.

For everyone who says "I'd beat ur ass if you messed with my car" your ego is just a little too big. Who cares if you lose a race because of a prank. You know you'll live longer if you have a little fun and laugh about things instead of spazing out over rediculous things.

EDIT: Seems like everyone on here has to fight to prove how much of a man they are...

my friend and i pulled a plug on his civic (the same civic that i shot my first exhaust vid) and we drove it around...sounded sick....didnt run THAT bad.....but it sounded like a wrx sti

I don't think a lot of us have a problem with pulling pranks cause we all have a sense of humor.....with that said a lot of us have put a lot of time, sweat and money into making our cars look nice and go somewhat fast so for someone to get under the hood and mess with something you've worked hard at would probably tick a lot of people off. For example I don't even let my girlfriend of 3 years drive my Mach so why would I want someone that I probably don't even trust mess with the engine as a joke. What if you don't know what your doing and screw something up while taking the plug out...what if you break the plug off or strip it when putting them back in or something like that. That's just my take on why people seemed to get upset about your prank.
