what a beautiful car...and only going for 50cents...i think ill take it for that and i still would buy it for 68 cents...lol

DarkShadow04 02-04-2006 06:39 PM

thats a nice car but 68 cents is a little high doncha think

Grimmz 02-04-2006 06:59 PM

lol, but even in the listing itself it says 6800...wtf? are u serious? Thats rediculously low too, somethings else is wrong...

DarkSith 02-04-2006 07:14 PM

Yeh, It's a scam. I sent the seller a message, and ebay sent me an email about fake sellers.

Grimmz 02-04-2006 07:15 PM

yeah A car like that you gotta expect to pay somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 grand

BrentK 02-04-2006 08:01 PM

Yea thats definitly a scam...This has been happening alot lately..my dads a detective and he gets about 1-2 ebay scam reports a week..the latest was some mechanic sent a guy a check for a 67 camaro ss for 3 grand..:poke: uhh dumbass

DarkShadow04 02-04-2006 08:05 PM

why would you even think that something that expensive would be cheap and why buy a car on ebay and if you do use paypal you get your money back

Badfish 02-04-2006 08:07 PM

I saw that too, but it's kinda strange that all he sell is watches and watch bands and then all of a sudden that car pops up???

Wonder if someone got his password and used his ID for a scam

Thats probably the case, cause in his description he tells you to email him and not use the ask seller a question thing.

macs03GT 02-04-2006 10:00 PM

yeah it's a highjacked thread!!! It actually happened to a friend of mine. Don't know why it's only 68 cents though.....

Rabbit 02-06-2006 07:56 AM

Gotta catch the details......

the pictures of this car where taken today 12-24-05 so what you see is what you are bidding on.
So, this guy can get a check for $6,800.00 send you the picture of the car, and get awat with it 100% legally!

Still a scam, but that's why you gotta read every word carefully!
