The 99, I could have payed off in 2 years and easily sell it later for more cause of mods...but idk...help plz...lol

In that case, I would go with the '99. I'm saying that for mainly one reason...it's a 35th Anniversary. I personally hate white Mustangs...sorry fellas. On another personal topic, since everyone else was doing that, I got my first Mustang 2 months ago, it's an auto V6...and I'm 20. I honestly would have to say get a manual if you can. I'm now regretting not getting on. Even if it's a V6, you'll have much more fun with it. As for insurance, you're always going to be paying a ton on it...you're under 25, male, and unless you're crankin' in the A's or B's in school, you probably wouldn't get the Good Student Discount. Just my two and a half cents.

My girlfriend's V6 actually costs more to insure than my GT... mainly because hers is a convertible, that will raise your rate alot!
A used car with >36000 miles won't have a real warranty anyway. It will be a 30 day limited (basically nothing) or they'll try to get you to add a warranty to it for an extra 20-30 a month... which is a scam.
Don't listen to the "don't get an automatic folks." Autos are fine... just do a jerry mod (shift kit) and a tranny cooler and you've got a stout automatic for less than $100 and a few hours invested. I've outran many 5spds in mine, and its still fun.

LOL a ford auto with a shift kit.. your kidding right????god fords autos suck soo hard... that's exactly what i did... and blew that pos so fast.. the only way a ford auto is reliable is to rip it out and stick in a stout BUILT trans by some one other than ford.. i did a 5 speed swap and ya know what, as long as u KNOW how to drive a stick, than you'll be fine.. i have out run many autos... sooo.. sorry to get off track
like it was stated earlier even if u buy a 99 or so from a delaer the warrenty won't cover much at all. i mean the car is already like 7 years old... plus if u are able to buy the extended warrenty then u'll just be paying more money for something you'll rarely use.. that is if your driving style is some what normal..your better off with the black one as the 4.6s are rather reliable...

my 4r70w lasted 90,000 miles in my f150 with all the bolt on's and a 150shot, all it had was a cooler and transgo. I'd say it did really good. my built 4r70w is still driving around someplace taking 150 shots as it goes. The aode is a great tranny if you mod it right and keep it clean.

hmm u might have been lucky or every one i talk must have bad luck.. i blew my auto my dad blew his my friend blew his twice ..all AODEs..i know of couple people who blew the 4r70w as well... i had a trans go shift kit in mine and it sucked.. worked great for a lil bit but def. not made to last a long time... the adoe is just a weak trans to begin with... plus it gets boring, when driving... sure the chirpping it into 2nd whas cool coming from an auto, but there is just no thrill like having a clutch to slam down when making those power shifts..
