HAHAHAHAHAHA YOU MOTHER****ERS ARE GOING DOWN! I JUST FORWARDED THIS TO THE FCC!!!!! OPHHHHHHHH

jk

Yah, i dont have any songs downloaded. quite frankly, MP3 blows ass in quality, i dont care who you are and what level of ripping is done, mp3 just sucks. its only good for convenient background music, but for real listening where the music is the primary focus, it sounds terrible.

then again, im more about quality over quanity or convenience. Im one of those suckers refferred to as audiophiles, although my system is a modest $10k system, not as up to par as other systems, it is very revealing, and mp3 sounds like **** on it. DVD-A, SACD and standard redbook sound freakin awesome on it.

i do have over 800 cd's though.... dunno if that counts... probably what... average 10 songs per cd.... so guesstimate i have about 8000 songs?

wtf are you talking about? if mp3's sound bad then you're downloading at the wrong bit rate. yeah if they're 128 they're gonna sound like ass but anything above 192 and i gurantee you will not hear a difference.. it doesnt matter what stereo you use.

Well I didn't read ll the posts, but I think I've got you all beat on this. My "MP3 Database" as I've labeled hte 250GB hard drive, currently holds 210GB+/- a GB or two. Off the top of my head, I think it's a couple hundred under or over 16,000 songs.
