Ok so ive decided that my IMRC's need some cleaning so im going to take off my intake manifold and do that. But since im there i might as well take the intake cover off and install some injectors. Im debating on which ones to get. Any suggestions? Also anyone with a 96-98 cobra... is it worth going with the IMRC delete kit or is cleaning them good enough?

You've come to the right place. I just cleaned mine
.I replaced my injectors with Venom 24# injectors because most of my factory ones had cracked tips (thank you previous owner). These things work as good as stock, if not better. As far as the cleaning goes, I would take the intake off, but be careful not to snap off any bolts. I did it twice and it was a PITA. Your IMRC's are aluminum, so be sure not to overtorque or else you will be very sorry. Took me 2 weeks to do a 7 hour job. Clean them first (be sure to watch how the wires are run for the IMRC Cables) and you should get a good pickup in response above 3,250. These cars lack bottomend. Unless you are running a power adder or something to pickup the bottomend, I would hold off on doing those deletes. You would need minimum 4.10 gears if you wanted to do that delete, if not 4.30's or 4.56's. You will bog down quite fast without them thanks to our lovely b-heads. Things you will probably want to look at/replace while you are in there though: Your composite gaskets (check for tears, etc, replace as needed), Check out your injectors (not needed if you are replacing them), coolant tube o-rings (best to replace these to prevent any leaking when you put everything back together). I suggest taking off your alternator as well, as it makes it eaiser to get to the runners and so forth. Be prepared for some fuel to leak out from the fuel lines when you pull the injectors out of their holes, as sometimes they get stuck. If you have any questions let me know. I would be more than happy to help you out. Running with deletes you will need a tune as well. Just clean them with carb cleaner. You will be pleasantly suprised at the pickup that you gain. .
