I've posted this on several boards. Please excuse me if you have already seen it.
I'm looking for some info on a 2000 GT Saleen Clone. We purchased it from Ebay last year in FL. But if I remember correctly, I think it originally came from The Northeast somewhere. I LOVE the car! I certainly gets the stares (be them good or bad). (My mother thinks it is an ugly car, but she has no taste.) I would like any background information on the car. I had the carfax info what I'm looking for is the person who did the changes from GT to saleen. I would love to know the history and his/her reasons for the choices they made. I know this is a long shot, but I've been thinking of posting to some of the forums to see if I could by chance locate the person responsible for "creating" this beautiful car. Specifics about the car. It is a 2000 Electric Green GT converted to Saleen. It has the tan top and the tan interior, as well as a tan stylin bar. It appears to have all the Saleen exterior add ons except the saleen side scoops (still has the GT). The interior was left pretty much GT. We have since added the white gauges and the saleen pedals. We have also added a Cervinnis sportster cover. I have many pictures of this car, but for a Mustang enthusiast, it is fairly memorable. Like I say either way......because it is a love it / hate it sort of car. Usually LOVE it. If you have any information on this car, please message me. Thanks so much. |

Just thought of two things that will finish off your car for sure. First off you need to get a saleen hood and 2nd i think you should lower your car just a little bit.

I would NEVER, EVER think I would like that color, but holy hell, that thing is nice. I bet it is better in person.
They have an '06 in that color at the local dealer.
