Can someone help me out please??
can someone with the Diablosport tuner tell me EXACTLY what it says about not having 93 octane around???
i lost the manual...and i really need to know what it says :helpsmili thanks

here's what it says
"For vehicles running in areas where only 91 octane is available (ex. CA & AZ) We recommend that you monitor your vehicle for detonation (Pinging), which is common when using lower quality fuels. If detonation occurs please go and "Modify Tune" and adjust the "Spark Advance" to 10% retard in both ranges and if necessary go even higher in the % retard to eliminate the detonation." how do i listen for it? ive never heard "pining" before

Hey jon, my inbox was full so it dump yer PM's to me.
Anyways, yeah, the manual blows monkey ass. I was wondering that exact same thing, However, it says AZ and CA, im wondering if they dont have 93 oc for a different reason colorado does. Dont we have only 91 cause at this high altitude 93 isnt a great idea or something? anyways, i put my tune in and just about ever aspect seems a little smoother, no pinging or knocking though |

Ca doesnt have it because the tree hugger blends don't allow octane to go above 91 and be environmentally friendly.
I was gonna say you retard the timing. I had a Diablosport, it sucked.
