Default cowl hood?

So I've been thinking I want to do something for my car's exterior to make it stand out from a stock mustang.. just a little. I usually don't like Cervini's stuff but damn, check out this cowl hood..

what do you guys think? i've seen it on a red car and it's just secksi.. but what about on my dsg with the mach 1 grill delete and chin spoiler?

I don't really want a big *** scoop and I think the size of that is pretty resonable, I just hope I can see over it just fine cuz I'm a shorty

I really have considered that one too Christy.I think it would look damn good on your car.The rise is 3 inches. You should still be able too see shorty

Also I called them yesterday to check on shipping cost. And for them to ship to Missouri it was $130,so it should'nt be much more to KY.

i thought it was 2.5"? and it's the cobra r style from the sn95 I believe.

I use to feel the same way about cowl hoods.. but then again we have a big *** non functional hood scoop. besides what would make our cars need a big cowl hood? i knew they were good for carbs but most aftermarket intake's are suppose to fit under the stock hood.

Here's my Steeda 3" Cobra R hood. Great quality according to my bodyshop man..... I like it It's my opinion a big hood is OK if you got something to back it up

I'm not a big fan of cowl's if I ever got an aftermarket it would prolly be the 2000 cobra R, but damn, that first hood in this thread really makes me change my mind

Looks good. Not too much cowl, not weak either. Id go for cervini over steeda though.
If I were to get a hood, it would be the 2000 functional cobra R hood.

bling!

Dont EVER say that again.

Now that thats over with, I like the Steeda one better compared to the first pic, but when you busted out that red one of your friends, well, I have a newfound respect for that cowl hood. Im not really big on them, and have said that if I get one, it will be a 00 R, but now I just dont know. Plus, having the cowl hood gives me an excuse to get a KB 2.2 *evil smile
