Hey, welcome to the board. Id go with the saleen kit by preference of looks, however, if you do get it, be prepared to spend a lot of money on paint and prep work. It would also look great with the 18 inch Saleen replica wheels they sell here.

Oh man, 600 for paint and prep, I dont know much about the labor of it except that its expensive, but for that price, Id jump all over it for a full kit. The 18 cobras would look good too, but the Saleens are just so sexy...

Unhappy

Hmm the last 2 posts to my thread have the word sexy in them.. lol

But anyways.. ya i know this guy who has a stang like mine but he totalled it. Had the rims about 3 or 4 months and wants to sell em to me for 800

they are the 18 inch gun metal gray cobra r's..rims AND tires ...i like the chrome but they are in great condition and fit my price range lol

So i think im gonna order the kit this weekend. One of My boyfriend's sponsor is www.bodykits.com and he gets his kits and accessories from them for free or at cost price so he is trying to get me a deal. Everyone i talk to says not to get a fiberglass kit but i dont think i can afford the other urethane one (i guess thats what kind it is)

no fiberglass, save a little more for the urethane. Fiberglass will be finshed after ONE scrape/curb hit. Then you have to spend the money you would have spent on getting the urethane kit in the first place plus more because youll then end up realizing you should have gone with the urethane. Just my opinion.

Welcome to the forum Jen.

This is an off subject post but I've heard it mentioned too many times..
Is Saleen pronounced- Say-Lene or Suh-Lene? Please tell me, I've always wondered this.
