Default Ordered some goodies!

Had to brag somewhere. Finally ordered some new stuff for my ride. Got C-springs and X-2 ball joints comin from MT, #1 wheel and tire special from Wheel Replicas -Anthracite Bullitts, 17x9 & 17x10.5 with 275/40 & 315/35 tires, UPR Blue Thunder shifter w/ Trick Stick and a bumpsteer kit.

Would have loved to buy it all from MT but they were out of the front wheels and Tire Rack was out of the rear tires so couldn't put it together. As far as the UPR stuff goes what can I say, I'm a cheapskate. LOL

Wow its 625 for all 4 Bullitts in 17x10.5. Thats a nice price. I was looking to replace my 17x9s in back for some 10.5s and go with nitto r555s all around.

The wheels by themselves are less expensive if you buy them here at MT. Those guys charge $79 to ship a set of wheels. They charged me $160 S&H for the wheel and tire set. The 10.5's are only for the rear. They hit the strut on front without spacers. Mustang Tuning is also the only place I've found seperate prices for the 10.5's.

What kind of car do you drive?
I drive a black 99 premium GT.

Put the shifter in tonight. Haven't driven it yet.

I'm getting kind of aggravated with Wheel Replicas. When I ordered the wheel and tire package from them on Monday I told them I didn't want it unless they could deliver the whole package. I also asked when they would ship and he said they normally shipped next day. After I hadn't seen any tracking info on the order on Wednesday I emailed and asked if the order had shipped. Wednesday evening I got a email from UPS with tracking info that sounds like it is just the wheels. I emailed them again and they claim it all went out but they have not provided any tracking numbers direct to me so I still wait to see if they are going to come through. I emailed em again and told them I'm not accustomed to ordering from a company on Monday and spending the better part of the week begging for tracking numbers. The tracking info I got from UPS indicates the billing info originated on Wednesday at 4:18 PM and the origin scan was done at 8:37 PM. So much for shipping next day.

I ordered stuff from UPR and MT about the same time on Monday and the UPR stuff was on my doorstep Tuesday. Mustang Tuning shipped the stuff I ordered from them on Tuesday and sent me tracking numbers direct. That's the way to do business.

Hmmmmmmmm, can't get the image tag to work all of a sudden. :confused4

I think your picture has sold Me on the Deep Dish Bullitt's. They look sweet!!! Those 10.5's really fill the wheel well. Do you run tailpipes, if so how much clearance do you have from the pipe to the tire? :dontknow:

The image link above turned into a clickable link for some reason. I've edited it several times and created a new directory for the pic but is still don't work. Turns out I had an & in the image name and it didn't like that. Renamed image and it works.

Default About those wheels...

Glad to hear you've got goodies for your ride....I placed an order with MT on Tuesday, received my confirmation e-mail, but I haven't been able to get anyone on the phone, and I don't have any shipping info. When were you told about the 17x9's Anthracite's being out of stock?

yeah, gotta love the way the tire fills out the rear... I dont have 'wheel spacers' on my rear rims, the rims were manufactured with a rear space of 2+ inches so my eights look like 10's lol from the side atleast (also, my lugnuts stick out in the front, and when i put the same lugs on the back you couldnt see them unless you looked directly in at them, so we got some 'extended' lugs, and now you can just barely see them, but they dont stick out like the front ones do, I lovers them anyway), and from the rear they look really far apart and it looks awesome, lol, ill try to get some pics of those up... =D
