Should I sell my UPR control arms?
My Bullitt suspension package got installed today. Problem is, so were my UPR control arms. UPR sent the wrong frigging ones. The ones that I got have the wrong-sized bushing, so I had no other choice but to tell the shop to put the stockers back on.
So, now I am stuck. My choice is to either sell the UPR's or pay another $150 to have them installed next week. At this point, I think I am gonna sell them. UPR is sending me the correct bushings for a '99+, so they will fit properly if I decide to sell. They are brand-new and I still have the box and the orignal packing.
These things sell for $219 from UPR plus shipping, and I am prepared to let them go for $180 shipped. The way I figure is, I can have them installed and be short $150 or sell them and have a $180 in my pocket to buy some smoked headlights.
Chime in....

Hey man, I know you are scared to put on your own parts...lol jk, but you could definately do these things. If you wanted one, but if you wanna sell em, do it. That sucks, and id be pissed if they did that, but mistakes happen. I guess sell them, but I think you could install em yourself.

You think, why? seriously, please tell me what I will gain by putting these on. I need to be resold on them if I am going to keep 'em. It seemed like a no brainer when I was just gonna out them on when everything was done.

Ok, our flimsy stock control arms, well, they suck as far as putting the power down and preventing wheel hop. These new UPR control arms (ooohh, ahhhh shiney!) are made of stronger material, that will keep the rear planted and straight when you mash on it. No more wheel hop for you my friend, its basically the best mod for the money for your rear suspension, even more so when you combine them with some drag radials.

hum.........
Anyone have any before and after stories. I realy don't get any wheel hop.
Also, I have a bud that would help me, it's just a time thing. I just don't have any and he is busy too. I should probably sit on it for a day or two and then decide.

Control arms and Headers are top on my to-do list, so for me to say that you should sit on them, is definately some good advice. I would wait and put them on near the Holidays or something. You will see a difference when you are coming out of the hole.
