Default Ecu Program

I have a 02 mustang gt, are their any computer programs that i can get to reprogram my ecu? or do i have to buy a programer?

What happened to the ECU? Did you loose the entire program?

OK. Yes, you need either a programmer OR a chip OR have your ECU reburned. I think only a dealer can reburn an ECU and I don't know if all of them do it. Best option is the tuner of the chip because you can always have the program changed later.

If you are on a budget and want a few ponies by advancing your timing, buy a Timing Adjuster. New they are $160 or so and used you can buy them for half that. MT sells them right here.
