ok so my ARCH enemy get a 1998 camaro v6 manual totally stock, and theres nothing i would love more than to beat him in a race but i got a 2001 v6 mustang automatic-also stock but possibly havign an intake by then, i looked it up and were just bout the same hp but who has the upper hand in transmission and by how much? also whats the differnce between gross vehicle weight rating and curb weight ?

v6 manual camaros are pretty quick for what they are, I think they were rated at 210hp. I have driven a v6 mustang auto and if i had to put money on it, i'd say the camaro would win. Start moddin the 6-er!

The camaro has the 3800 series II V6. Its rated at 200hp and 225tq. Weight wise, I think it weighs just a bit more but I would put my money on the camaro.
