congrats man. really weird telling someone congrats on being divorced but we all know how long this process has been for you.

I dont know the whole story but it cant be good. The women always win in the end. At least you can have a piece of mind.

Yah im pretty stoked on it.
It was going good, then she got a lawyer who was fighting to get her 1,500/mo spousal for 1 year, support, 600/mo child support, part of my 401k, and i would still have to pay for day-care, insurance, and any out of pocket medical expences. That would have run me well over 3,000 a month.
My lawyer was trying to pull custody of the boy from her, have social services investigate her place, force her to have a vocational competancy test done, etc, etc.
Neither of us wanted to go that direction, so we fired the lawyers, hashed it out, and im paying about 1/3 of what her lawyer was trying to get her. next april it drop to just $500/mo child support, and i agreed to keep up with that unless she starts pulling in more money.
we had what was just a status conference yesterday, the judge asked us what we had left and we already completed everything. So he went ahead and signed off on it and bam. all done!
