Default 04 with 5.4l

I don't know a lot about the 5.4l swap, but most of the one's i see have the hood cut for clearance. I'm not looking to buy this, just think something doesn't look right and knew where to post it to find out.

It's not even a real cobra, just a replica with a big motor. LoL
Um you don't have to cut the hood for clearance if you have a huge cowl or whatever it's called. That's why that hood is as big as it is. I'm not sure I'd ever pay that much though.

I know it's not a cobra, because the front bumper is just like the one on my GT not a termi that would be on a 04 cobra. The black rocker stripes does like make me think it could be a v-6 swap, but I stil think something is a miss on this car.

The reason why they are able to use a big *** cowl is because they are using a different plenum than the stock one. The stock one sits on top of the blower which raises it that much further, hence why most people have to cut their hoods cause there really isn't a cowl big enough to clear it. On his car, the plenum looks like it starts coming off the back and then down so the blower is not sitting up as high. Take a look at the12fast4u's sig and you'll see how his plenum sits.

People just put cobra and **** to get more people clicking on the link.

Not worth 20k but he does have a sweet setup I wonder if that is a custom welded intake or if you can buy it somewhere.

Honestly it looks like he may have found a wrecked Mach1 possibly and then dropped that in there among all the other items.

I don't see the dealership doing this kind of work period. A v-6 to 5.4l swap just not along the lines of things they would do, especially when they would have so much custom work. Buy some weird chance Ford did do the work I would loved to see what it cost that poor bastard.

Ford would never do that kind of work. Can we all just say that guy is full of **** and be done with it?

lmfao, this guy is a douchenozzle.. I don't know how long he's been trying to sell that thing, but it's been around for a while. I'm pretty sure that I posted it here at one point, he made a point to let me know that it was a genuine Cobra "special edition."

with all the lies he's told I'm going to bet that the motor is on its last legs and even if the whole thing is otherwise pimp, it's in a bad way. nobody needs to lie about a lightning swapped v6... it's still no longer a v6.
