Nahh...

Try living in an apartment complex with 13 separate buildings, you live in the farthest back building and have exhaust that has been called many of times the "Loudest, and best sounding S197 ever." lol

I'm going through the complex doing 15 in 3rd gear lol. It blows.

I wouldn't feel too bad. I'm a heavy sleeper though so I can't relate to light sleepers lol.

LMAO! Quote worthy!

I love how there is now a classification system for sleepers....

I'm a sleeper. If by sleeper you mean that I can beat you if you're sleeping lol. Or if you mean it by when you're sleeping I'm going to come steal your car....Either way lol.

Dude down the street from me has an 04 GTO with SLP's. This MFer is gaadaam loud no matter what gear he rides in. You should be able to creep away without too much noise.

What I hate is the early Saturday or Sunday morning leaf blowers or lawn mowers annoying the hell out of me. One neighbor of mine uses his blower to push around 1 leaf seems like for hours..

This is why we can't race at BIR until 9am, or even start a car w/o exhaust... the people that have cabins on the lakes nearby can't handle it... oh and we have to shut down at 6. Street legal drags go later but not the regular brackets.

They could all kiss my ***. My car is loud and I want it that way. If all these bikes can be louder than my car then I got no problems with my car being loud

Creeping away is fine, its just the initial startup thats pretty loud. Oh well, the guy only complained once and that was when I had flowmasters lol and I was pretty much in his driveway when i started it up....at 5 am. The guy is getting old anyways so he should be getting up for the early bird special.

My neighbors haven't said anything, but they don't have to. The stink eyes I routinely get say it all.

My neighbor that lives on the right side of my house LOVES my car. Then again, he is a middle aged gearhead. I once apologized to him for my 'loud-*** car'. He said 'no worries, I don't mind being woken up by that sound'. I think he's the only one who feels that way!

Part of freedom is the freedom to not want to hear something. The other part of freedom is being able to be the source of things others don't want to hear. **** him if he can't take a muscle car.

Yup, your freedom ends where someone else's begins.

I've never had any complaints. One neighbor has said somthing like "I know whenever you leave in the morning becuase I can hear the mustang start up." But that's about it. I usually just get a lot of looks, but I don't think it's because it's too loud. If I creep around below 2.5K rpm I'll be fine.

Your car just looks hot and they're all jealous.

I wish I could say this. Spooky is loudest from a cold start up. I'm surprised he doesn't wake the dead.

Holy ****... you used a word that's on my level, although you misspelled it.

I have always referred to my cars as 'he'. Don't like it? Tough ****.

hmmmm....I know I'm not going to be popular for saying this, but the 3 mustangs I had I always made sure my exhaust sounded good, but wasn't stupid loud. I personally think loud exhaust is annoying as ****.

I had a next door neighbor who had some old hoopty and it was LOUD. He'd go to work every morning around 5:30am and every time he'd fire that thing up in the morning and revved the engine it would wake my 4 month old up. I like the guy and what could I possibly say to him "stop starting your car and going to work"? So you just deal with it, but it was Fing annoying and PISSED my wife off.

I know we live in a "me" only world, but if you want to be the guy the neighbors are annoyed at then so be it, just don't expect them to call the cops if they see someone stealing your car or breaking into your house when you aren't there. ha ha ha ha.

Maan, you guys should live where i do. You never worry about a mustang starting up bieng loud, more of some retards ****** truck. Every redneck out here has straight exhaust yet somehow passes inspection...Does Texas even need for you to have a cat? I really oughta know that before i do my exhaust lol..Plus dont forget deisels....omfg you here them literally a mile away...

You are supposed to have cats in Texas and some counties, usually a cities, require some type of emmissions test I think. I don't live in a county like that so I'm not exactly sure. The deal about inspections though, is that like most places, it's pretty easy to pass anything if you get in good with the shop.

It all depends on what year the vehicle is whether or not it requires cats, 1976 or below doesn't. ( I think).. My worst complaint against any neighbor is a fcking dog that won't shut his yap, that they keep outside. Or worse than that, those fcking subwoofers rumbling at the lowest possible verberation. And also ( while I'm bitchin). those fcking idiots with a gadamm loudspeaker mounted to their backseat. Sounds like a gadamm ice cream truck playing fcking stupid rap. .
