I really didn't like the original, but the only reason I'll be watching this one is because Jessica simpson is hot

I won't see it. The casting is pure crap... Knoxville? Please.

TV series will own the movie...

And Daisy is supposed to be a brunette!

I think it will be funny as hell with Stiffler lol and Knoxville. I heard originally they wanted Ashton Kutcher and Paul Walker as the Dukes. I think they made the better decision.

i wouldnt go as far as saying that. but i have heard this movie is funny as hell, and jessica. enough said. im sure this movie wasnt aimed at the folks who watched the series back in the 80's. i wish i could of seen it but everytime i went to the theatre it was packed and the ac is out. im not going to watch a movie in a packed theatre without ac in 120* heat.

Could a car actually handle the landings that this car made in the movie? I mean a beefed up suspension maybe or is this all special effects and trick photography.

They used original Chargers for the movie just as they are. 26 to be exact!! They said the hardest part was finding those wheels. Each car had its own purpose. In the newest HOT ROD magazine they have a huge write up about the movie with lots of cool info. Go stand in Wal-Mart for about 20 min and read it. Pretty good stuff. By the way I still have my Dukes of Hazzard tin lunch box and my thermos from when I was little. YEEEEEEEEEEEE HAWWWWWWWWWWWW!

I dont plan on seeing it in the movies but I know they made 100 for the tv series.

And no, a normal cars suspention isnt going to handle those kind of jumps. Something will go wrong with those kind of jumps like broken tie rods, balljoints, hubs, axles, ect...

Even though I want to see the movie, I don't think it is geared towards Dukes of Hazzard fans. I bet you most of the people seeing it never even watched the show when they were little. I grew up on it and I know the movie is nothing like the show. It has different humor and more sexuality which I am not complaining about. Just saying if you are a true Dukes fan and don't see it, doesn't mean you are a sell out. Like Cooter said in an interview..they ruined a good wholesome family show. His exact words were "It would be like taking I Love Lucy and making her a crack head" I will still go see it just because I know it will be funny.

If you feel like that about the Dukes of Hazards.... I dare to think how you feel about the remake of the Honeymooners. I know Jackie Gleason is turning over in his grave because Cedric The Entertainer was casted as Ralph Cramden.

Just keeping it real
