Yep. Pretty sure it is because it hurts really damn bad. The reason my hand might be broken is because I punched someone's car window. They nearly ran over me at a crosswalk this morning while walking to class. This is the second time this has happened this school year, I think I made a thread or post about it the first time too. Some girl in a silver Impalla. I just don't unerstand these people who speed through the cross walk to try and save a few seconds but nearly run people over in the process. I was a quarter of the way through the cross walk when she tried to go through, I had to stop to keep from getting hit, so I punched the passenger side front window as hard as could. Now my hand hurts, but it was worth it. I wish that sucker had busted out. Made it hard to take notes in class though. If the car is going through the crosswalk before I get there I have no problem, obviously. But when I'm ******* walking through it and a car has to go around me, WTF!

I also need to replace my passenger side view mirror on the mustang. When we had a bunch of ice and snow I think it busted the mounting screws. Or someone walked past the car and hit the mirror. They had already broken in the past and I used some epoxy to be able to screw the mirror back on. I had a hell of a time getting the little connector disconnected from inside the door, I can't imagine the trouble I'm going to have with a hurt *** hand. The replacement mirror I got from a place on Ebay for $32 and its nice, looks OEM.

I might go get an X-ray at the school's clinic just to see. I broke my arm when I was younger and waited a over a day to go get it checked out.

 

Matt, get a damn X-Ray! The sooner the better. Instead of hurting yourself, carry a brick with you to put it through the windshield of the next ************ that speeds through the crosswalk.

tickets for moving violations can't be issued based on the word of some dude and in most states an officer would have to see that chit happen.

 

That depends entirely on the state/county/cop/judge.

I know a guy who was on his way back from Skiiing, he was completly sober but cut somebody off. He got home went inside, grabbed a beer and started drinking, about 1/2 through the beer the cops show up, advise they recieved a report that he was swerving over the road and asked him if he had been drinking. He had a beer in his hand, they actually gave him a fucjking breathalyzer and wrote him a ticket for driving while impared.

so he goes to court right, cause it is total bullshit. he gets a judge who'se nephew was killed 2 weeks prior in a DUI accident. Throws the ******* book at this guy, he gets 10 days in jaild and loses his licence for a year.

never underestimate the bullshit that can happen through the legal system. if the judge signs off on it, it is legal even if it is bullshit.

At the minimum the cops would call her up and give her **** about it, which is more effective than breaking your hand on her window.

even call campus security.

in my view of this entire thing, 01Fr500 totally lost and that chick totally won.

next time just pop it on the top of thier car and they can drive around with a big floppy purple ***** bobbing around on thier car.

I did consider getting the plate number, but they didn't stop and was speeding off. I also didn't think my hand was going to hurt so bad or possibly be broken. The only reason I have considered not telling the campus police dept. is becuase I didn't actually get ran over and that I did punch the window. I would probably end up being the one that gets a ticket with the way some police are. I give the campus police here a lot of credit though. I got my cheap five year old bike stolen on campus when I was a freshman and they treated it like it was a damn murder. X-rays here on campus are either free or minimal cost, not worried so much about that. I'm going to wait till tomorrow to see how it feels. The only available scheduled clinic time is 3:10 tomorrow and I'm in lab at that time.

Switch: It's just a street on campus with a crosswalk, no lights or anything. Pedestrians are supposed to have the right-of-way.

I wouldn't get the x ray if ur hand is swollen. If it swells up just wait a few days and wrap it up with something 2 keep u from trying 2 use it.

 

Damn that sucks. Chick almost hit my husband last week, she had only cleaned a little patch of her windshield so she was driving by braille. Fortunately it was a smart car and he left a nice big hand print in the middle of her hood, she still didn't stop, cuz over here she would have gotten a hell of a ticket.

For your hand, keep it iced, 30 min on 1 hour off. Take motrin or another anti-inflammatory round the clock for 48 hours and rest it. And being able to move your hand and fingers does not mean it isn't broken. If the x-ray's aren't expensive, go ahead and get one but I wouldn't rush right over unless you lose feeling or pulses. Most of the time it's just a bad sprain, soft tissue can be more painful than broken bones. Plus if there's alot of swelling the x-ray may not show a minor fracture.

My wrist is so limp it was probably more of a slap than a punch. haha.

The hand still hurts just as bad as it did yesterday. I even woke up durring the night several times and thinking about how it was hurting a bit and not being able to get comfortable. I think I was waking up more because the girlfriend got us some new bed sheets and I'm not too fond of them. Satin is a slippery sucker. It looks only a little swollen, nothing major. My wrist is more swollen, so I'm thinking it is just a sprain. I don't have time to go get an x-ray today so we'll see how it goes and feels tomorrow.

Maybe I will get a paper weight that looks like brass knuckes to carry around in my pocket for next time.

 

Maybe you should get an appointment while you're at it to have all the sand from your vagina removed and stop being a panzy. Are you sure you didn't punch your own car window b/c you got beat by a *** in his ricer?

Carry a spark plug, heard that even a light toss from a average sized spark plug will instantly spiderweb a windshield, or any glass. Ive never tested it but i might soon.

Yeah man, don't worry about it. Lying about your life can make you feel better, seem better than you may really be to people over the Internet, people you may never meet, have no feeling for. Doesn't change who you really are, what people think of you, if your parents feel bad because they think they could have done a better job because you've done nothing productive in your life. If that's your tendency, it's just because that's the way your brain is wired, certain parts not as developed as others, no changing that. Not as easy as swapping Cobra brakes for Mach brakes. My best friend had a simialer situation with a guy in a newer 300c he reached out with the hand his wedding ring was on and just dragged it along the cars paint as they rolled by and left a huge as scrach

 

seems like that was a close call for sure. Maybe after you hit the window you could have fallen to the ground, grab your arm and get back to the curb, and look for witnesses, who saw you get hit by her and not stop. Hit and Run is a crime in every state. And if it happened fast enough you could claim you barely stopped in time to save your life. She only clipped my hand with the mirror or door handle. She had to hear a loud thud, when you hit the window. How does she know you did it on purpose?. I'd be having serious problems with being sideswiped by someone speeding thru a crosswalk. Play the game..
