Default NFS Shift

Here's my take on this game. I got it a few weeks ago, PC version, with my trusty Momo wheel. I waited to get my new graphics card, ( Invidia geforce 9500), Game ran great, very nice gameplay, good graphics. This game actually feels like real driving once you get the hang of it, Soon as I came up with enough cash I got the 2010 Shelby GT 500. Then just ranked up until I made her into an 800HP monster. LOL, You get extra points for sliding the corners, so she's fun to drive.

The only problem I had was one that many people on the EA forums were having with game crashing. It started with me all of a sudden, Would not let me start any race with out booting back to desktop. Went on for 2 days before I finally just tried updating my drivers for my video card. Yep, I had an old version. Now she works extra fine, And this is the best game I have played from EA or any other driving sim.

I would recommend it, but it seems most people with ATI cards still have troubles with crashes no matter how badass their computers are..

Keep in mind that this is the PC version and we don't have much to be choosy about, No Forza or Gran Tourismo, But this game Rocks IMHO.. I'm having a blast, even more than with Most Wanted..

I rented NFS Shift due to ProStreet being so horrible, I liked it. I don't beleive the car physics are as good as Forza 3 but it's still a good game. I like how you get points for precision/aggresive driving. I think Forza penalizes you for drafting, which happens in real racing.

i downloaded the demo of this on the 360. i have some gripes, but it's a huge improvement over prostreet. it's no forza, by a long shot, but it's a pretty solid racing game.

forza=king of the hill

I had a Sega saturn. And the 1st NFS. That was the best racing game ever back in the day. I'd usually get the ZR1 and tear up any track. except Lost vegas, you need the lambo for that track.. LOL, old times..
