The HIGH temp for this week was 30*. Low for Friday says it's supposed to be 7* so roughly 0* with wind-chill I'm sure, snow Thurs/Friday.

All I know is that this cold has thoroughly kicked my *** so far this year.. Been sick for the last 3 days, Bronchitis + Sinus Infection, 102* Fever.. Yeah. Sucks.

It's gonna get worse here according to the forecast. Another arctic blast coming and the winds gonna kick back up. maybe even colder this weekend and into next week, than it was is this week.

We may see low 40's tomorrow and thursday so i will enjoy those days, LOL..

And my fcking pool froze over too. that hasn't happened in the 4 years I've had it.. And even the little 20 acre lake my subdivision is built around is froze over. never seen that, and I've lived here for 13 years.. We've had warm spells every month in the winter since I can remember to break the cold cycle. But this winter is starting to look like winter 3 states north of here..

My sinuses stay fcked mostly all year, But I think I got an ear infection. I hear sloshing and junk in my left ear and it's kinda hard on the balance part. No fever, but if ear drops don't work, I gotta go see the doc. Plus I wake up in the morning with sinus block. I mean no air passage at all till I get up and moving. That sucks.. I've had allergies since i was a noob to the world.. So not weather related i guess..

OK to be honest I would love any of those highs, thats nice weather. Saturday is the first day with a high above 10 in what will be almost 2 weeks. Add in windchill and we have rarely been above 0... I woke up today at 9 to -6 outside.

Occasionally, when im home for break anyways. Its not so bad though if you are active and dress right (aka splitting wood). But we went ice fishing when it was -15... cold as hell, bytime we got done i couldnt move my toes, it was worth the fish we caught though.

After 6 years I finally have a tolerable winter!

Sorry to keep this thread going but, Gaadammm it's fcking cold here again. Snow missed us Friday cause it was too warm, 41 degrees. Friday night, it's back down to fcking 27 degrees, and the wind is blowing. feels like 15 degrees. OMG

I have never dreaded leaving work to go home but dam, the walk to my car was agonizing. And it's gonna be even colder today and tomorrow. I gotta work both days, but in the plant where I work it's a toasty 65 degrees.

Good news though, Days are getting longer, Springs a coming. 6 months from now I'll start the official " how hot was it today" thread...

That's another thing about this northern cold blast we're getting. It's dry *** cold wind. My hands are chapped from it. My hands never get chapped. Don't even know what to put on that. Right now it's fcking 22 degrees and by early morning it's gonna get to the teens.

Sorry to go on about it, but I started this thread thinking it last a few days. It's been cold since before X-mas. nothing above 45 and that was only 1 day.. the rest have been highs in the mid 30's and lows in the mid 20's. and teens.

It's been this cold before, many times down here, but it's been a while and usually doesn't stick around for so long. And I'm finally realizing that age does affect your ability to warm up.

Good news though, Forecast is looking up for end of the week. Warmer maybe. By that i mean high 40's low 50's.. I need some good ole humid 95 dgree days just to thaw out.. Summer will be a welcomed time here for me..

Lol, i think this is the coldest its EVER been here, my pond froze over. Its never ever done that since i moved here, not even close. It was thick enough for my geese to walk on it, until i threw a rock on the ice and made it collapse under em lolz. Coolest sound ive ever heard i think is a rock skipping on a half frozen pond. Also had 3 inches of ice on some pieces of water, it hit like 14* or something like that earlier. I need a thicker ****** jacket than a windbreaker man... Was actually somewhat warm today, made me happy.

All you have is a windbreaker? Christ, I live in Florida and I own like 6 or 7 hoodies.

Ice doesn't have to be very thick for geese to walk on... good news up here though my dad can finally drive his truck (f-350 dual) to his fish house because we have enough ice, to bad i am at school and can't join him.

300 pounds of sand bags in the far *** end of my trunk made my 04 virtually unstoppable in the snow and ice when we had 14 inches of snow on Christmas eve. Just be glad you have a V8 that will get the heater working nice and quick

It's supposed to be warming up in central Florida starting tomorrow. I can't wait. I've had enough of this cold weather. In my life, I can't recall it being this cold for this long in Florida.

You guys were in the news, freezing in Fla, unheard of. Kinda funny how people used tho their environment react to severe temp swings. In the winter, when it gets this cold here, Northerners say wow, that aint ****.

When it hit's 95 up there and people start dying like in chicago in the late 90's, we down here say wow, that ain't ****.

The weather is equaling back to near norm temps for the 14 day forecast. I hope this is all sh'es got in store this winter.. I need warm air besides the heater..
