My Cat is a Zombie (Not for those with weak stomachs!)

Some of you may remember how I made a thread a while back ago that said my cat was eating the brains of a rabbit. Well, about a month or so ago at 8am as I was leaving for work, I found what I'm about to post on my damn doorstep.

Here is the thread in case some of you didn't see it.
https://mustangboards.com/lounge/35838-zombie-cat.html

WARNING:
If you have a weak stomach, don't like seeing cute animals mutilated with their meat torn down to the bone with half of their bodies missing, or if you are an animal activist who cries at the slightest thought of an animal even being touched, do not view the pictures that will follow this paragraph. If you are from PETA, you can fuck off and die just like this squirrel did.

For the rest of you, scroll down. :D

I present to you, Osiris, the zombie cat! For every animal you don't eat, he'll torture, mutilate, and kill 3. :)

Here is Osiris' latest victim that I am aware of.

I know it's not with it's head torn open or anything, but it's still pretty fucking creepy, I think. He does this all the time. I have never seen him eat a rodent without doing something like this. I guess he only eats the parts that he likes, haha.

What gets me the most is the lack of blood in the area where I found the squirrel. I wonder if he ate it somewhere else and brought it to the front door so we would see it. I had to find a stick so I could carry it away and throw it across the street.

that is awesome!

One time when i was in highschool and walking home afterschool, my buddy saw a dead mouse. It was all bloated from the gasses and heat. I stepped on it gently and heared bones crunch, i rolled it under my left boot a little bit and he burst open and a long string of blood and gots shot out and covered all over rmy right boot and pant leg.

i smelled like bloated half rotten mouse for the rest of the walk home

thats all i have to say about this.

;)

My friends cat would always find a mouse and play with it for a day( holding it then letting it run away for a few feet and catching it again) before killing it. She would always eat everything except the heart and one other organ which she always left lying on the steps to the back door where everyone would see them.

mustangV6_04 10-27-2009 05:55 PM

Omg that is awesome lol. Goes to show that their wild instincts still over come them when put up against wild animals.

I've never had a cat, but I've heard that it's not uncommon for cats to bring the owner "presents". Like leaving mice at the doorsteep and bringing them to thier shoes and stuff. IDK.

My cat's too damn lazy she just looks at birds and the other small outdoor critters and then dismisses them and goes back to sleep.

rebelyell 10-27-2009 11:36 PM

Housecats are notorious carnivores. escpecially large male gray cats like yours. He probably lapped up all the blood left after he finished the good parts of the squirrel. Then decided to see if you wanted the rest.. LOL. I saw a cat eat a large shiner when I was a kid fishing in our lake, and believe me cats can eat like a lion when they choose to. And yes they are very good at catching stuff. Your cat probably has a squirrel or 2 very often. :innocent:

rad.

Mr. Zip 10-28-2009 06:54 AM

coolest way to eat a squirrel ever.

r3dn3ck 10-28-2009 07:11 AM

had cats all my life. From my experience: outdoor cats will usually bring their owners "presents". It's their way of showing you that they're keeping up their end of the bargain and you should keep being nice to them. Inside cats are prone to the same behavior but they'll often play with the critter for a long time (compared to the outside cat) before killing it and leaving it somewhere for you.

I went hunting recently and we were in bear and mountain lion INFESTED woods. My hunting buddy was absolutely terrified we'd have an unplanned encounter with a bear till I told him that bears run and cougars weigh in at around 100lbs. He said, "So..." and I retorted, "You ever try to keep a pissed off house cat from cutting you to ribbons? Try one that's as big as you." He's not planning on hunting out there anymore.

I try not to have such wishful thinking about the "present" idea, although I have heard that as well. I think he just brings his food to where he feels safe eating it... as he brought that squirrel to the area right beside his food dish where I feed him.

Fuck if I know. He's neutered, so he can't help make some evil zombie kittens, or I'd send you one. A regular cat would probably die in the box, but the zombie kittens wouldn't. :p

A friend of mine had a large male black and white cat. He was an inside/outside cat. This cat was huge. Not fat, and had a very big neck and shoulder muscles, plus he was even soft furry, his fur was kinda rough, but very straight. Meanest gadaam cat I have ever seen. He loved to be rubbed and petted, but he would still grap your hand and bite the shit out of ya. If you tried to pull away you'd have 5 lacerations of your hand. LOL. That cat would come home sometimes with holes in his head from fighting other cats. We guessed the other cat looked worse most times.. We would tell our friend to keep that dam cat away from us. Dammit.. He's a monster.. :o

I have a worst story.

My dog belle when I first got her would always try to get the squirrels that live in the tree's behind my house. Well one day I went to class and left the back door open for her to go and play while I was gone, one roommate was home studying so no big deal. Came back 2 hours later and the house smelled terrible. And sure enough she had gotten one chewed on it and then put it in the center of my living room for me to see waiting for me to come home. I berried it in the backyard that day. One day later came home and there was this nasty covered in dirt squirrel that she had redug up to show me. I had to cover it with a concert block on top of it to get her to stop trying to get it back out.

That really made me laugh out loud.

rebelyell 10-29-2009 10:42 PM

LOL, Too bad my dog didn't think like that. My late doberman used to be good at catching birds, She would act all cool about it, when you caught her, except she'd have skinny bird legs hanging from her mouth.. LOL, just like a tweety and sylvester cartoon. Had to beat her with a broomstick to make her let it go. Birds allways upset her tummy, so I had enough cleaning the carpet from dead birds that didn't agree with her.. :p
