In case some of you didn't know, tomorrow 9/24, they are putting up the Forza 3 demo to download on Xbox. Don't know about anyone else, but I'm excited to have a new racing game to play and this one will kick ***.

 

I have not played any of the Forzas but i am gonna download it and see

 

I've never played any Forza game, but I am interested and will probably look into getting it. I've got Grid and don't really know how it would compare but I like it. I've rented the NFS Shift game and it sucks beyond what I thought it could possibly suck.

 

I have always like the Forza games even though I don't have a 360. I have played 1 and 2 at my buddies place and they are pretty sweet

 

hell yeah, i've been eagerly waiting for it. im gonna be racing home from school tomorrow night so i can download it and play.

 

Forza in my opinion is one of the best racing sims out there.

Forza is without a doubt the best racing sim available (that I know of.) I haven't played Dirt2 yet, but I highly doubt that it can compare.

Forza 3 is supposed to be even more detailed and have realistic damage as well as the ability to flip the car, etc.

The only thing that I can't make myself do is shell out the $60+ for Xbox games.... I just have a hard time paying that much for a game. I literally haven't bought a 360 title since Halo 3 came out..

 

I think it's time to bust out $60 and buy it. You got a little less than a month to set aside 60 bucks. Do it! I tried downloading the demo before work this morning, but it wasn't up yet. When I get home I will be trying it out even though I already know it's going to kick ***.

Awaiting Sony fanboys response on how Gran Turismo 5 is way better and totally owns. I just have to say one thing, is Gran Turismo 5 ever going to come out???

 

Don't get me wrong Gran Turismo is cool but Forza is just better sure GT will have more cars but 20% of them will be skylines and all of them will have the exact same hp and tq specs

Don't forget though, GT is going to have hyrbrids and electric cars too. How cool is that. You get to race around in a Toyota Prius. Nothing cooler than that.

 

For as big as the demo is you dont get that much but its still awesome. I spent like 20 minutes this morning trying to roll a car... Its hard as ****

 

Only if it has solar powered Air Conditioning. I refuse to race a prius any other way.

 

How were the graphics compared to Forza 2?

That's one of the new mods you can do in the game.

 

There effing awesome, All cars have really detailed inside views, the frame rate makes everything flow perfectly, and the load times are suprising-ly short.

dirt 2 sucked, i played it and beat it and will never play it again.

 

I like how they added a clutch to forza. Im always up for a little more of a challenge.

 

Well, yet again Forza does not disappoint. Played a few different cars on the demo and it rocks. Graphics are sweet and the game is nice and smooth. Seems like they even touched up the collisions to seem more realistic when hitting walls and everything. Now I can't wait for the full game.

took me all day to finally roll my car but now i got an easy way figured out, just turn around and hit a car head on full speed, if it doesnt flip it'll get close to it. lol

 

So, when does it actuall Forza game come out? I don't have Xbox live to download the demo. On a related note, I've been playing NFS:Shift for a week and I have changed my opinion on it, I kinda like it. It takes some getting used to and drifting seems to be the fastest way around long sweepers, but the game as a whole is ok. It probably doesn't hold a candle stick against Forza from what I hear though.

 

The demo is the ******* ****. I'm preordering the game tomarrow

 

It's pretty damn good. Very similar to 2 is some ways, but the physics and car control are totally different! It's a badass game for sure!

I got in the top 1% on the leaderboard with the Ferarri out of like 104,000 players!

 

It comes out in October. Not sure on the exact date. It's much better than any NFS and I haven't even played Shift.

 

So I got Xbox live last night. Played the demo and it was pretty good but I wasn't blown away by it. I think the hype set my expectations pretty high. Didn't like Dirt 2 much.

 

i never played the other forzas, but i downloaded the demo, and it looks great. i didn't pick up the last two need for speeds because i just heard so many bad **** about them.

on a side note, i think i'm gonna sign up for gamefly. lately too many games have been more rental worthy rather then purchase worthy.

 

My girlfriend has been trying to get me to sign up for that. $60 is a lot to spend on a game, that why I only own one game (only had an Xbox for a few months). Being able to play a game before shelling out that cash is a big deal to me. It cost me $8 to rent NFS:Shift for a week, I don't think a month of gamefly is much more than that.
