Default 98/02 Camaro SS

I can't tell them apart but anyway a Black SS pulled by me at a light with some SLP's ( geez that thing was loud). I was behind him at the next light and he pulled off kinda slow and I'm just farting around behind him (couldn't even hear my flowmasters), and after we start rolling to about 45 he fcking nails the **** out of it and I'm just glad I wasn't beside him trying to fck around. That dam car is fast as hell. I stayed on him for a good 2 seconds and fearing a ticket cause of the noise I just pretended I wasn't even trying to keep up with him.. Oh yeah, at the light you could hear the cam loping like crazy too. Nice ride. I gave him a thumbs up as he turned left at the next light.. I swear he brought the front wheels up at 45 miles per hour when he hammerd it..

almost no mustang can **** with a modded lsx powered gaymaro... its a shame that ford nailed the look of the mustang... but outright failed with the motor...the 4.6 sounds great...but thats about it.

And older Camaros were making 310whp when GT's were making 260. It took the Cobra to keep up. Now look at the new Camaros. When they get supercharged watch the hell out...

had a buddy with one that had some *****..

still don't impress me though..

and a KB'd Cobra with pullies and a tune SHOULD easily be a 10 second car.

don't know what the motor is in the camaro, but ST Motorsports has a Challenger on a KB with 15lbs of boost, mid 10s stock bottom end. I saw them run it... it was impressive - ish.

Mach 1's can hang with the SS's stock for stock and even with a few minor mods to each car, but once the SS guys start getting into the moderate/heavy mods all bets are off, generally.

The thing about the lsx motors is you can have a custom grind cam made for around 400bucks and make some crazy power.

They also have way more CI to start with then us. Which does suck, but these motors love boost and nitrous. But the ls1 loves nitrous even more.

Friend of mine had a 01 SS (LS1) with heads/cam and full SLP exhaust, put down 400.1 rwhp on the dyno.

I'm sure I'll see this guy around town again sometime. I'm thinking he had a bottle, that thing just squatted and squalled at 45 mph, and I saw him shift into 3rd gear cause he slammed it, and then the front end went up, maybe not off the ground, but enough to notice. But like I said he was cam loping at the light, and was sounding dam good. Plus his car looked dam good to. Had some big meats on the back, and nothing too extreme as far as body kits and such. Just a clean fast *** camaro..
