Angry Ya'll aint gonna believe this sh$$!!

We are truly soul mates, we do everything together. We eve screw up togeher.

Coming home tonight after the meet and going to the tattoo expo it was about 1100 and the hubby and I were each in our respective cars. He in the Magnum and me in the stang. We couldn't resist the temptation to play around a little with each other. Most of the way home we were side by side due to traffic but we took advantage of every opportunity to open it up a little. I had both boys in my car, 15 and 9, and they thought is was great to see who was the best driver in traffic. Keep in mind the fastest we got was about 60mph ever and that was in a 45.

At the very last stop light, we were so very alone we just had to let it rip. Of course I took him by a coupld of car lengths, and let off when I hit 55, he never went over 45. But what to my wondering eyes should appear but the glowing blue and red lights of a police car!!!

I never considered it was for us, so I just stopped to let him go by, but as luck would have it, he was actually pulling us over. I'm sure he was laughing on the inside when he realized he pulled over a husband and wife time, both in their 40's, we are not really the target audience on a Sat. night. But I guess he just couldn't take a break from being a ******** and wrote us both tickets for drag racing.

We have a court date in July and I'm sure it's going to be a riot. Perhaps the whole club should come and give us some moral support.

The scene in my rear view mirror.

No offense, but that is pretty funny. I got pulled for a public display of speed once because I spun tires at a red light. My wife was in the car and when he sauntered up to ask the proverbial question (where's the fire bud) I answered as best as I could. "She is outta tampons and we need some now!" I scared him so bad he said to hurry and get them and left. My wife smacked the hell outta me, but he was gone so I couldn't press charges . . .

Even funnier I gotta go to trial court for the damn thing!!! It's gonna be great for a husband and wife in their mid 40's to be going to court for drag racing each other. lol

ahaha, thats some funny ****. both stories. last week i was doing 68 on a 55mph hwy with traffic, state trooper weaved through traffic, pulled me over and gave me a ticket for doing 86mph which is reckless here in northern VA. the next day i was doing 55 on the damn toll road, like who does 55 on the toll road and i got pulled over by another state trooper who handed me a ticket for my tail light tints, then he proceeded to say,"cool sequintial tailights by the way but theres the ticket" this all happend when ive been working 16-20 hours a day for the past 3 weeks, really pissed me off. but i'm buying a silver 03 cobra my buddy has within a month from now. it has 9,000 miles on it and is 10th annv.

Bad part about this story is you and your hubby will NEVER live this one down. The boys will remember this as a "Get outta jail Free Card" or y'all could just put them up for adoption now and not have to hear about later on down the road.

Young man and young lady I hope you have learned you lesson. Both of you are grounded for a month!

Yep, how will I ever discipline them, if they come home with a ticket? This will be the first words out of their mouth.

I wouldn't have taken the ticket and asked to see the radar

Mustangrn, You may want to get a lawyer on this one. Just because you were exceeding the speed limit doesn't mean you were drag racing, But if it can be proven that you "know" the person you were speeding with, then The cop has a case. Not sure about every state but they are cracking down severely on street racing. You could end up losing your license and your car.. I wouldn't take this too lightly. This could end up very bad for you..

Yea. Rebelyell has a point, you gotta take this very seriously. It's kinda obnoxious he gave you a drag racing ticket though, I don't think he needed to go that far. Maybe a reckless and or big speeding ticket... but drag racing between husband and wife? Absurd.

By the way, you shouldn't street race

+1 I don't support any type of street racing. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk it was up to you and I hope it all works out. Even though you weren't going very fast its still enough where anything can happen. I had a friend that lost control of his car hit a utility pole and the car blew up. Thankfully his actions only harmed himself. Hopefully everything works out but the others are right many states are severely cracking down on street racing with very harsh penalties so hopefully this can be knocked down

Street racing is illegal. You deserve the ticket, specially since you had your kids in the car.

You should be in jail right now.

You could of lost control, flipped your car, left your children injured, hit a kid trying to cross the road, or maybe just a poor armadillo trying to cross the road.

I hope they revoke your license.

I really hope this is a joke.. Otherwise, I sincerely hope that you crank your Viper up and it blows up, causing the lexus to catch on fire, spreading to the ATV then on to your parents "4 million dollar" house only to find out that all of your insurance has been cancelled.

Seriously, you are so full of **** Dan. You're trying to act like you don't ever do stupid things in your car(s).. Give me a break.

Anyway, something tells me the reason why she's not too awfully worried about it is because they're moving to Germanland in a few months, as far as I know MVR status doesn't exactly travel abroad.. lmao

Spinz, wtf? Didn't you post a video of your friend doing a huge burnout? HE should be in jail, that was a serious loss of control of a vehicle. It's very easy to control a car in a straight drag, but not during a burnout, and therefore, a burnout is more dangerous. I'm very confused by your logic here.
