Plenty family
More successful was the decades-long substory of the Plenty family, a group of goofy redneck yokels headed by former villains, Bob Oscar ("B.O.") and Gertrude ("Gravel Gertie") Plenty. The family provided a humorous counterpoint to Tracy's adventures. Their daughter, Sparkle Plenty, first gave the strip an infant character, and later a pretty young adolescent girl character; unlike most comic strip children, including Dick Tracy's own Junior for many years, she was allowed to grow up (albeit slowly) and eventually marry.

hey spike... does yer dad like boats or something?

http://www.spikeafrica.com/

and...

The first of these was a man called Spike Africa, surely one of the great names of all times. Spike Africa had been declared a celebrated sailor and international boat racer, known in his prime, when he was based in San Francisco and Hawaii, as the Mayor of the Pacific Ocean. In his last years, his career in decline, he'd ended up as the harbormaster at the Seattle Yacht Club.
and a little cherry on top, here you are.

OK, Here goes.

My name is Richie and I was born in 1957.
I also think some great cars were made in 1957.
I don't allways find Richie1957 available but I take it if I can get it.

Mine is self explanitory to those in the know... "...in World War I during the 1918 Château-Thierry campaign near the French village of Bouresches, Marines assaulted a line of German machine-gun nests on an old hunting preserve known as Belleau Wood. The fighting was terrible. Those Marines who weren't cut down by the enemy guns captured the nests in a grisly close-quarters battle. The shocked Germans nicknamed their foes, teufelhunden [sic] (devil dogs)."

Correctly spelled it's Teufelshunde

Basicly I served as a U. S. Marine in 3rd Battalion 5th Regiment 3/5 for short.

Feb 95 to Feb 99 I missed out on all the fun stuff. I was 0331/32 Heavy machinguner in a combined anti-armor platoon. Ie it was my job to hunt enemy tanks and stuff. My platoon had special t-shirts made up with the slogan " Profesional Drive By" I was also a certified marksmanship instructor and took classes with the Marine corps international shooting team. One of those instructors was the son of Carlos Hathcock (not sure if spelled that right) an infamous sniper from the Vietnam era.

When i joined in 05 i was all about the mustang....and all i thought/talked/breathed/sleep was mustang....i think...i have yet ran into a forum where the name is taken except for moddedmustangs where im 03_white_gt only so i can log in...i dont post there much.

i have earned myself the nickname stang among my friends and family (primarily my uncle, whose we call NOS because he always had nitrous on all of his cars) because of my screenname. ever since graduating highschool, i have grown less and less obsessed with the mustang.

but everyone still calls me stang..and if i dont know the person, they will eventually catch on and call me Stang. kinda unique...all of my friend have nick names (ginger, cheeks, dirtt, hawk, magoo, faith, and so many more)
