Pass Time
Does anyone watch this? I watch it alot and sometimes it makes me mad lol. I just watched a 2000 (i think) mustang GT that was supercharged. 8lbs of boost. He ran a 14.97 1/4mile. It just looked bad he took forever to get off the line. I just feel like mustangs sometimes are not well represented on this show. Sometimes they are but this dude should have run better than a 14.97.
also on another note the strip here in town opens this weekend!

Damn, I wasn't too far off 14.97 in my V6 Mustang. Not surprised, it's not like the screen out the people that can't drive. From what I've seen of the show, most of the cars picked are typical cars, not fully prepped or have dialed in drivers. I would lose if I was a contestant on that show.

some of the drivers are good alot are but it mostly seems like the mustang ones are the ones with the inexperienced or just plain crappy drivers. Maybe its like you said WN but i would hope not lol.

When they came to Bandimere, a buddy of mine that was there said Ken was walking around talking to a bunch of drivers before they started taping. I don't know if he actually hand picked them, but I wouldn't be surprised by any means.

The three mustangs I've seen on there.
1) A 2007 GT with exhaust and a CAI that was drove by an 18-year old who said it was a 4.8 liter (moron) which raced a CTS-V which is wayyy faster stock to stock
2) The same car MustangMan was talking about last night who hadn't raced the car in three years
3) A Boss 429 like a long time ago that smoked a 69 Camaro, which was the only good one I've ever seen
The show tends to disappoint on nights when the let cars like the ohhh soo amazing Dodge HEMI Trucks and Suburbans go down the track. It's sad that the only thing I watch on Speed is the once a year Le-Mans, the once in a full-blue moon GT2 races, Bullrun, and Pinks or Super Bikes.
Speed has definitely become a one in all network of stupid shows like Livin The Low Life (which to me is the dumbest show even after Pimp My Ride) and Nascar all-day everyday. Nascar isn't stupid it just gets old very easily, especially when it's become a political massacre. If Nascar had production based cars like it was in the beginning I'd watch it everyday, but not these full tube-chassis knock-offs of the original that use cars like the Camry and Fusion instead of real muscle like the Mustang or something with a V8 at least.
Rant....sorry.....

Livin the low life..... god i now have that song stuck in my head. I dont like that show. i watched the first part of it once and had to turn it off lol.
I like pinks i just have not seen a new one in awhile.
On Pass Time i know he had not raced on a the track in 3 years but i am sure he guns it on the streets some times lol. Most people do. Even if he had burned the tires alittle on takeoff he still would have had a better time than that.
I have seen a few Stangs do well!

Livin' the low life is such a horrible show.. Super bikes sucks pretty hard, along with American thunder (the harley show).. Wrecked is a cool show, it's kinda fun to watch all of the different stuff they have to do. Monster Jam is awesome ofcourse..
I agree that they do have too much Nascar stuff sometimes, but for the most part that's only on Fri-Sun..

and yeah there are some seriously bad drivers on that show, which kind of adds to the fun of guessing the time; along with having some super random cars on it.

Vida Guerra is hot. I don't like the show, but I'm just tossing that thought out there. MosterJam is good if it's new...they play too many replays of that, too. Pinks sucks, 'nuff said. It seems like the only two shows worth watching on speed anymore are Bullrun and Supercars Exposed. <-- I love that show.

If you can google it search up Goldberg's garage (idk if it shows up or not). But, he has some sick cars, and not just like "I'm going to throw down 1.5 mil on a car", but built cars like a sick Supra and a few Mustangs of course.
I've missed Supercars Exposed, but now they're starting up a new season so it'll definitely be DVR-ed.

Supercars exposed is DVR worthy, some very nice cars we could never afford but can get a glimpse of performance wise. I also have grown accustomed to Top Gear. My wife records that show on BBC, and it's funny as **** if nothing else, but they race some great vehicles 99% of the time that they drive and try to not wreck. Plus they let everyone drive that POS car and see who has the best time on that same course rain or shine.. LOL. Gotta love them Brits.
