One of the joys of living in San Diego...never seen a hurricane. There better be something good if they charge 2.75 for a damn gallon of gas.

I have been in alot including Andrew. Worst thing right now is the $#@@ wind is blowing the mangos off my tree. Buy here are some pics of the last rain storm that flooded this whole area. The house is on a hill and the neighbors had water above their waists since its was at a lower elevation.

It seems that Fla. has had the hurricane jinx the last few years. Fla. always got away with a brush with the hurricanes, until Andrew. That was the Fla. big one. Then last year you guys got hit 3 times in a row. OUCH,. I live in N.C. and we got our turn at the big storms for 2 years. Fran and Floyd. Now it seems the Gulf Coast is up for some storm impact. Good luck if you live in storm zone on Dennis. I wouldn't second guess any advisories with a cat. 3 or 4 Hurricane. You Gulf Coast guys are to close to sea level anyway.
