Default 1994-1995 GT

There is a 94-95 GT being sold near me, what should i expect to be paying?
All that is on the sign is a number, and i am basing the year on the emblems.
It has lots of little scratches and is dirty, and has a chunk out of the drivers seat.
But it has a 5-speed, V8, and a 5.0 (right?)

next step is calling the number and the insurance company.

5.0s are the boxier model, a used one in that shape I'd imagine them starting the price at $4000, but with the seat and the scratches, you should be able to get maybe $2700-$3100.

^^ '93 5.0

Starting in '94 came the sn95s, which really paved the way for the New Edge stangs that were so popular from '99-'04. A '94-'95 GT in used in good condition with a 80,000 miles could be priced at $5,000/$6,000...In that condition, a dealer would try to start it at $4,000, private dealer maybe $3500-$4000.

^^Mildly modded sn95

The 302 wasn't gone until the 281 replaced it in 96.

Ok so i went back and looked at it is was a 4.6, i called the guy and he was asking $4000. This would have been reasobable had it been in great shape, or even ok shape but this thing was beat, really really beat.
O well.
Also the 302's are less expensive to mod then the 4.6's right?

News to me. I might have to get a second car then. I can find '94-'95 GTs everywhere in town for cheap.

Because the S197 are pigs. No offense but those cars are heavy, were as the SN95s are light and the Foxes featherweights.

nothing that a few suspension mods cant over come. also, the s197 is a better platform to mod cause its more receptive to modifications.

if anything, get a 03/04 mach or 01 cobra cause you wont lose that engine performance.

I wish my parents would give me a Mustang. I've bought all of the seven or eight vehicles I've owned with my own money, it sucks.

Well they didnt give me my first car, but at the dealership he jokingly said "YA you can have it when you turn 18" but me and the salesmen wouldnt let him forget it so he said if i dont get tickets i can have it =]

Plus at that point he plans on upgrading to a vette.

Suspension mods still won't fix how S197s weight almost 1,000 lbs more than a Fox.

A 1000 lbs in a huge different and the parts to mod a Fox body are half the cost of the 197's. Thats like puttin 2 fat girls in the back. Thats some damn good wrinkle.
