so i went around to dealerships today to find a 99-04GT and i came across one at the Ford Place that is white, 14G, 03' , 39,XXXmiles on it. the guy said the owner used it as a "play toy"=modded". had a Hurst Short throw Shifter, Some kind of namebrand Clutch Kit(forget the brand), is Nitrous Ready, just needs a bottle...etc.
thing is i never drove a stick before. lol. i'm a very easy learner at the stuff i want to learn, so it would be easy for me to learn how to. if i did i would have taken it for a test drive. but it is also WHITE! ahh..not my color. haha. i might keep my options open |

50% of me is telling me to get a GT and the other half is telling me to make a badass 6'er. i was at the car wash today and i was just wiping her down and polishing the rims, a guy walked over and told me nice car etc. i asked him if he wanted to buy it from me today for 10G, he told me that if he would have known the other day he would have, cause he just bought a car.
he said he still would have if he didnt have a wife . lmaoi was at a diff car wash afew days ago and a red GT pulled up(stock) and was asking me about the stang. |

stick is very easy, but cars that are stick suck when you do a lot of city driving.

i first learned how to drive in a stick..... i HATE the fact that mines an auto but you get used to it.
driving a stick is easy....... doing it well takes experience. that is y racing is not always about the car, driver makes just as much a difference. buddy of mine had a sentra SER spec V.... should have been faster than my old del sol (before FI) beat him every time..... he just didnt know how to drive. really though, with all the money youve dumped into your stang, keep it. it seems you can never be satisfied and i guarantee if you do trade it in for a GT, you will be disappointed until you get a cobra.... there was a post a while back about this. youve got a nice stang, got some good performance mods, relatively low mileage (ive just last month rolled the big 100) and a seemingly endless flow of cash, just keep modin the 6er, make it an STI eater! :-)

I would not buy a car that has been modded, much less has had nitrous run through it. But I am pickier than most... I want a stock car.
Also, I think that 14k is a bit much, but they are prolly trying to get some of the money out of the mods =/

i have been thinking about that M112 S/C or w/e. if i keep my stang i'll end up doing suspension, and a FI of the M112 or the S/C From VMPTuning or Spray it.

its always fun to start over, and trust me white stangs look sick with a nice set of black wheels and dark windows. I drive a stick everyday and really i dont even think about it anymore its just habbit.

I would get the GT and if you could find a yeller one you could even swap some parts over from your 6er. Id rather get a car that has cosmetic changes rather than one that has had a mod like a bottle. Who knows whats going on inside that block.

I taught myself how to drive a stick... I don't see what the big yank is. He didn't say he drove it perfectly.

Stick is simple man, and once you do it, you won't want to go back to auto..I WISH I could have gotten my car with the stick, but alas...my next Stang will be however

Just get the GT so we can stop reading posts on every new GT you drive and should you buy it or not. Either stop putting so much money into the 6 and get a GT or just keep the 6 and do actual performance mods.
