I dunno.... that just seems a bit rediculous... you can get a FORD GT for that price.

of course.
but even the lowest priced KR is overpriced. even at the lower price point of the KR's there are faster cars. I havent seen a price on a KR that is justified yet.

You have to realize that the KR is limited. If i'm not mistaken something like 2,776 of them? I'm probably off. But no average joe can buy one either. You have to get the right from Ford to buy one. I forget what its called but they gave away it to someone on Barrett Jackson who was buying the Knight rider ones.

just takes the ridiculousness to another level. Ford is acting like that car is a damn limited edition Ferrari. Permission from the factory for purchase...pshhhht. who are they kidding.

If I was rich as hell and had the money to spare, I'd get one. I'd rarely drive it, though. So technically, it would be a waste on my part.

so what, its built on the same line as regular V6. Nothing about it is really that special. It has a flashy name, more power and a body kit. At least the old cobra motors were hand made by teams of two. Maybe if Carol Shelby signed it and it had its own dedicated build team, then I might pay 80K...but 133k...no way.
**edit**...i forgot, when I get married this October my soon to be father in law is going to give us his mustang as a wedding present.....1968 Shelby GT500KR 428 cobra jet

He's right! I love me some 428! i'm helping a buddy of mine restore his 1969 GT500 with the 428 jet in it. He's the president of the tulsa shelby meet, so he's hoping to get it rolling by June for that. It's a beast!
