what happened to streetracer any one know?i know there was that fight with r3d but he was hear yesterday and now hes gone, does any one know some thing i don't?

He is actually banned, I don't get it. Unless we are all missing some sort of threatening Private Message. He argued with people, but that shouldn't get someone banned.

the fact that he was annoying in some of his post and said dumb stuff all the time is what keeps the forum from getting boring.

with out him its about gears and exhoust gears and exhoust it gets old after some time.

Is anybody really suprised? i will admit i enjoyed the hell out of his posts, but sometimes he would pick a fight on something dumb, be shown wrong several times and simply continue to act like a jackass.

He has received a suspension. He is not banned. If he'd like to come back after his time is up he's welcome to so long as he maintains himself as a contributing member and knocks off the asshattery. He decided to open a thread specifically to attack an admin (me in this case) and has otherwise been asking for a ban.T by attitude for a long time and I tired of it enough to grant him a vacation. So far the other mods have supported this action, if any one of them wants to object they know they can express their objection and move for a reversal and the whole mod team will decide as a team without regard for my position on the matter.

I got a similar suspension when I first joined for doing the same thing (to a lesser extent even). No special treatment was given him just because he decided I would be the object of his attention. He was treated exactly like I was.

You can gripe about the mods to the mods via PM, or post a respectful thread asking why a particular thing was done or even that you think we are wrong and totally out of line but do it with a bit of respect for the position if not the man. Openly attacking a mod will get your ass banned, period.

Aside from all that, I have no malice toward SR. He screwed up and is currently paying the price. That's all...nothing more.

No doubt he was asking for this for awhile now and I agree with Jack he often would ignore common sense in his persuit of his own douchbaggery but from reading the guys post for awhile I don't know if he will come back. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy that will take a repremand and quietly learn from his mistakes...... How long does a suspension last anyway?

suspensions can be anywhere from a few days to forever. His is less than 2 weeks.
