Default Its about damn time!(Bumper)

its about damn time! parents called em today and they shipped it out two days ago, they gave us a tracking number and i tracked it and it will be deliverd tomorrow by 4:30pm. but one thing makes me curious... it says the weight is 8LBS is that how much a rear GT bumper weighs?

hmm after having to paint it 4 times and crap and waiting sooo lonng. orderd it the 2nd of Feb. now it will be here March 20th.

8lb sounds about right..it's just a piece of plastic..lol

You didn't get the absorbers right?

lol yeah true. and no i didnt, would i have bought them seperate? if so then no. i thought i could use the absorbers thats on it now.

haha nice. Then you get the fun of raising the exhaust tips depending on how you had them installed you may have to do some cutting

why would you have to do some cutting? you should just be able to raise the exhuast straight up and be done with it. I was looking at my exhaust compared with stock GT's and i think no cutting it required.

its nothing major if your hangers were welded on you have to cut the hanger then raise the tip and have the hanger re attached. Basically depends on the exhaust system and the type of hanger it has. Some are adjustable and some have to be cut

Make sure you heavily examine the bumper when you receive it. For how long it took, the paint should be absolutely perfect. Be sure to check all corners and check for running.

I'm curious how it turns out, take pics!

Ive been getting damn lucky with all my exterior mods. the hood for $225 and soon to be a free bumper and no paint required.
