Funny is stuff that doesn't cause people's web browsers to be removed from their control. Funny doesn't cause disturbances. Funny doesn't make non-technicals think you've infected their computer with a virus. Do you have any idea what it takes to calm someone down after taht kind of shit?

there's a lot of funny ish on the web but most of it is designed to torment one type or another of the people exposed to it. Some of that is funny, some of it is dangerous, some is just flat mean. I don't want to have to deal with the aftermath. It's selective activity on my part... some call it laziness.
Consider this when posting links: Many of our members (a disproportionately high amount) are current military service personnel. Some of them have to conform to some pretty draconian web use regs. Some of the dumbass links that people post can end up getting a military guys security clearance yanked. Do you want to be responsible for hurting the career of someone who fights for your right to post retarded crap. There's a time and a place for everything... it's called college.
