Default New MMFF Tech magazine

Was looking through this years annual tech magazine and found a test between 04 GT, 04 Mach and 04 Cobra. All three cars ran good 1/4 mile times but what surprised me was the GT. Was the decked out GT, automatic,
Mach 1000, ect. It spun up (from what I remember reading) 215hp and 257tq on the dynojet and they managed to run consistant 14.1s and one pass of 14.0. With stock tires and the extra weight from the stereo I was surprised to see this. The Mach ran a best of like 13.7 and the Cobra was in the 12s. Must have been great atmospheric conditions. They also run road course with all three. A good read for anyone interested.

ive always heard stock GTs could dip into high 13's with practice, but 14.0 for an automatic! that looks like a pretty good time considering it probably dynoed at least 10 rwhp less than a manual

I'm running consistent 14.0's through an auto. 209RWHP and 283TQ. They correct to 13.7 - 13.8
Thats through a stock NPI engine too :icon_chee
