what do you think about Grand Prix GTP's(supercharged)?

 

Its a potentially fast (with upgrades) but totally useless (front wheel drive) GM product that shares its underpinnings with 20 other "different" cars.

Better tghan some cars, not as good as others.


240hp and 280 tq..... heavy.. FWD... ugly...

newer 08's i guess have 300hp/320tq. not bad... but still... heavy.. and ugly... and fwd...

Honestly Pontiac has never inspired and particular feelings in me the way a mustang or camaro do.

they are just safe and boring...

 

kk, i was just wondering, shortly after i got my 6'er my g/f's dad got one of em and he's been bragging about how he whips gt's asses and beat a camaro ding 132mph. (btw, he is a mechanic). talks **** about fords..blah blah blah, i just wish someone with a cobra or highly modded GT would come spank him.

 

Those GT's he supposedly whipped probably had no idea there was even a race going on

lol... well i assume since they are supercharged they would respond to mods pretty good like say a uhh pully swap? lol

I guess they are allright if you need to run down to king soopers and pick up some groceries....

 

lmao @ the responds! te year has to be around 00'-02'(its a V6). he just hit 100,000K on it a month ago. my V6 is only at 75,000.

 

A last gen GTP has no chance against a STOCK 99-04 GT. There are quite a few upgrades for the 3.8 S/C motor though, so a modified GTP might hang with a stock GT, or even beat a stock GT. haha...I dont care...more power you add, the more torque steer you get. lame. I dont like having the gas pedal also be a "steering wheel tugger" lol.

 

Yeah if you really want to show him up just do a donut or something and drive away.

He can't do that. lol
