Is global warming a crock of $hit.
I beleave its the earths natural cycle and a new industry is trying to get more money from our pockets using global warming tatics to scare us into doing so.

i do concure
i think read somewhere that when the earth spins on its axis its not a complete and full perfect circle
it kindda wobbles like the moon does around us and rotation around the sun is more oval than circle
and if u look at scientific fossils of rocks and such
its shown that we have been through more than one iceage and iceage melt or w/e
but i do agree that companies will make a killer off of it if they can scare people into buying their products

I live in Michigan I could stand for it to get a little warmer but then apparently it's supposed to get colder after a few thosand years but we will all be dead by the next ice age so I really DGAF
Take off your cats, rev the engine, squell the tires if we all work together we can get michigan up a few degrees and maybe the f'ing snow will go away.

LOL. That's how I feel. I'm not gonna sit here and say I studied any of the "facts" that global warming is happening. Because I don't care. It's cold as **** here like 3-4 months out of the year. Bring it on.

I believe in it to a certain extent. I can see how all the pollution and everything contributes to the decline of the atmosphere, but I also believe that it's earth doing what it does. The ice age happened for a reason, earthquakes happen. It's all part of earth and things that have happened more than once are sure to happen again.
And I think this whole regulation with cars must meet the 35mpg rule is crap. You are taking away peoples hobbies and passions.

I am just like Bob, I'm a skeptic, not a denier. I doubt its a big of a deal as people make it out to be. Its like when people say the moon is stealing the earths gravity because its getting closer to the earth. It only gets like 2 inches closer ever 2,000 years. Who the f cares right now? If we all worried about **** during our lifetime that won't even affect us during OUR lifetime, what kind of life is that?

I believe that global warming is real but I find it silly that people blame it on cars when one volcanic eruption puts more greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere than all the cars on the planet do in 2 years. and volcanoes have been going off since the last ice age and they will continue to till the earth cools. not to mention the the gases that escape from the ocean trenches all the time I'm not sure what it amounts to but I bet if the goverment could they would tax it.
So if someone yells at you for a mustang that gets low MPG tell them to stick a cork in it (their mouth or a volcano it makes no difference)

The problem with this stuff is either end stand to have thier pockets lined with cash.
There is so much junk science used in this that it is impossible to differentiate the biased junk reports from the tru non-biased reports.
However, a lot of scientists that have no vested interest in this seem to think global warming is bogus.
I dont know how much i believe in it
but im all for doing what we can to make sure we dont trash the planet.
I doubt Global Warming is real, but i think we should live like it is.

If it wasn't real then why should we live like it is? Why should we constantly worry and not enjoy our lives?
I understand we shouldn't trash the planet, i agree with that. But taking away V8's, and all that crap, thats retarded. If i buy a Mustang GT and it gets 28 mpg, something is wrong there. It sounds like a good deal, but it is probably made like crap.

ok, from my own research, very little but enough, global warming is a bunch of bull crap!!
my reasons for this.. okay so the earth is spoce to get warmer with global warming right?? well then explain why if you really look at charts and stuff the AVERAGE gobal temp. has not gone up but down... yes really it was hotter out there about 200 years ago than it is now.... WAIT that makes no since.. earth is spoce to be getting warmer when it is in fact getting slightly cooler... wow...
and another way to see this.. if may be a little freak. but this year was the first time in anybody's living life time that it has snowed in Afghanistan... really...
but to me its a a fake to get money for the government.. get ppl to believe the earth is getting hotter to make more money on the strict restrictions on cars..
if global warming is the earth getting colder then yes its true, but getting hotter not hardly... it is part of the earths orbital path to get hot some times and cold others.. it gets closer to the sun some years and further away others....

During my Bachelors degree I took a couple environmental science classes to fill in my math and science undergrad slots...
...I had a prof that asked everyone in the class to raise their hand if they thought we (humans) were responsible for global warming, she then asked those who though humankind were not responsible to do the same. She then had each of us write a 30-40 page paper trying to prove the viewpoint opposite of our own
I chose we were not causing global warming, so I had to do 13 weeks of research as to why we were causing it..
In 13 weeks of research I did come to these two conclusions:
YES, I 100% agree the earth is getting warmer...
The earth has been getting warmer for the last 10,000 years.
While everyone keeps stating that the facts show we are causing the current increase in global temperatures, I must have spent 8 weeks trying to dig up one of these facts.. I found theories, and studies, and whole thesises that alude to, but never state as fact that humankind is causing global warming. if you look at Al Gore's movie they continuely state their facts pertaining to the last 50 to 100 years.. ..naturally if you look only in the last 50 - 100 years the evidence is irrefutable that we are causing global warming.
Speaking as a Statistical Analyst, tracking aircraft maintenance statistics (2nd Job in Air Force) 1st thing I can tell you is you need a much larger reference pool of data to make such a claim. In order for these numbers to be stastically accurate you would need to compare data for the last 10K - 20K years. Then you look through your data for trends and set your standard deviation for that data pool. All the time we would have aircraft down for maintenance problems, the officers in charge of those aircraft would yell and scream that "there was a grounding level problem". If we looked at the problem under a microscope, it always appeared as if these officers were correct. But when we pulled back, and looked at the last 2, 5, or 10 years of data, we always had to show them that the current problems with their aircraft was within the standard deviation for the time period in question.. Meaning that while the problem looked catastrophic from a miopic standpoint, it always was a minor blip on the overall maintenance characteristics of the aircraft in question..
OK, enough techno-babble...
All this means is we need to look at the big picture, not just the last 100 years. People tend to want to reduce things into this timeframe because 100 years is only one standard deviation above the normal life expectancy of a human. We need to look at this issue in global/universal timescale. 10K, 20K, 100K, 1M, 1B years to properly say YES, this is our fault. In the meantime conserving energy, and protecting the natural places on our little blue marble is not a bad way to pass our time....
IMHO - Global Warming is the "New Religion" of the political far left. Some have taken it so far they are getting sterilized so they can't have kids, so they don't increase their carbon footprint.... (morons)

human induced climate change is a reality, IMO.
note: I never said anything about "global warmiming." but there's no possible way that a thinner o-zone caused by us can't affect the weather.

Rada is correct, is the earth getting warmer perhaps. Is it due to man made perhaps not. Companies are falling victims to a concensus. Remember the earth was considered flat, earth was the center of the universe and of course big foot is roaming the mountains in the US.
What ratttles my cage is that the scientists that have evidence that goes against man made global warming are often ignored or attacked.

OMG! Funny ****.
One thing I see if really interesting is how Mars has been getting warmer at the same rate the Earth has, yet theye is not one dam Suburban driving around up there.
Al Gore is a stupid, idiotic, hypocritical buffoon. Dumbasses who neglect to look at real data and the truth to make a point to elevate themselves, only hurt everyone.
Yes, the Earth is getting warmer.
Yes, it is good to take care of our planet.
Why the hell can't we just leave it at that?
