Question About Tint
I Want To Get My Windows Tinted, Any Recommendations On Where I Should Go To Get It Done, And How Much Should It Cost Me, Thanks =)

I would like to say it was like $250 when I got my windows tinted in my old car. I would go to a place with a good rep though, even if it is a litte more money. You don't want your tint to bubble or anything later on, so you get what you pay for.

i spent 190 on 5% llumar tint...well worth it...it was actually 170 but i added a vinyl strip on the back for 20

Man that sucks... according to that site in NJ I'm not allowed to do any tinting to the front side windows (or windshield (DUH!!))... I know I've seen cars with tinting there so I'm guessing it's just not enforced... 20% shouldn't get me pulled over on the sides and back... and it'll make my car look sweet! Hey Paterson guy... let me know where you get/got yours done at... I'm in Pompton Lakes... used to live in West Paterson... I know there are a couple Mustang/Speed type shops located in Paterson... just not sure I trust driving my car in there to see them

dude if you are getting your windows tinted and you have a convertible then dont go too dark then you would prolly look like a drug dealer or somethin. thats how i feel ever since i got my cars front windows re done. they screwed up and my car got re tinted with 15% up front and 5% in the back for 90 bucks. lumar tint is supposed to be the best and its really easy to see out of too except at night. oh yeah anywhere between 150 200 is what it will most likely cost you good luck

Do you know where or what the mustang/speed type shops are in paterson, ive never seen one. I want to get my tints done but now i dont know if i should cause of that website. Cops here enforce it if they stop you and they dont like you. Like here, have a bonus ticket for your tints, arent we so generous. But anyway, i got a friend that can get me them done for me for cheap and supposedly he does a really good job. If i get them done ill let you know how he did and if anything ill refer you to him and ull get the discount, but ull have to come to Paterson, it aint all that bad, just some places are crazy =P

About the tinting... I have a black car with the black top... the black windows just match... aren't as bad as some setups! As for the cops... I have automatic windows... just roll down both front windows if you are ever pulled over! |
