Default Finally!

yup, finally got a garage for my car...Im excited! last night was the first night since I have owned it that it got to spend the night inside. I live in an apartment so its somewhat rare to have a garage I guess. glad I wont have to defrost the car every morning or sweep snow off of it...oh and best part IMO...no hail damage threat over night. W00t!

Haha, congratulations.

Only thing I'd need a garage for down here is to keep the rain off of it, but that's not much of a big deal.

Yeah i planned on buying a cover. But geeze, the custom-fit ones are 190 bucks! Thats crazy! The universal ones usually look like crap, and are junk. Anyone have any experiences with these? Not to hijack the thread or anything..

imo covers suck the wind blows them and they hit and beat on the car and then the paint looks like hell.

hey it matches, and the only reason i had it on there is because the last job i worked was at an oil change place and i always got grime on the steering wheel so i put a cover on it and i never did take it off. Atleasts it matches the interior and its fuzzy. Didnt lance have one on his cobra ?

I have a 65 dollar cover...worked fine, it got wet and took 17 years to dry lol, but during dry times it was my friend...kept the car nice and clean and it fit great.

Yeahh...our garage has a dusty corvette on one side, and a bunch of **** on the other, thus defeating the purpose of a garage.

When I was in highschool I tried to buy/rent my parents' garage. I tried to give them $1200 for a first payment! They wouldn't let me, so my Mom's '99 300M gets to stay in the garage. However, now that I've gotten the GT, everytime I go home I get to keep it in the garage. In my point of view, the newest, most valuable car should be kept in the garage, which was both of my Mustangs.

for me to get the garage i had to clean the garage good enough to fit two cars.
we have a 3 car garage and one spot is completly filled with junk (no shop at house) it took me a good week over the summer to get it right to fit my car in there but now i have a spot!!

I too have always had a garage to store the stang in, especially wonderful in the winter, but now that I am at college, she is subjected to the harsh winter elements...
