it sucks that someone died, but that's the chance you take when you streetrace. At least they did it where there's no traffic or anything.

I'd say that the police there don't care whether or not there is any street racing going on.. For the most part, police around here view it as natural selection.

Sucks that they were killed, but for the most part from what I've read the two that were killed were a couple of gang-bangers. Don't want anyone to die, but atleast it wasn't a little kid or someone that wasn't involved.

BTW: the guy in the White Stang (not the one that caused the wreck)turned himself in.

i'm surprised it doesnt happen more...some people stand so close to when you launch and even closer along the race route....i wonder why they shot that guy after the crash...

as for the streetracin aspect....cmon...look where they are...who cares that they choose to race down there?...hell it looks like that place where they raced in the movie "grease" i say nice choice for a race

the guys who died were fellow stang buffs... i say rest in peace to em...it coulda been any one of us cause any one woulda raced down there under the road where you would think it would all go well...i know i would....i know i have...so i wont laugh at another road racer....i wont call em a thug...not even the guy who got shot cause generally the thug is the shooter...not the victim

I agree that it was way different than some normal street race where it's a few guys on a deserted street in the middle of the night what it boils down to is everyone involved should have been more careful. nothin they can do about it now

That was "staged street racing" not just street racing. That carries a hefty penalty to whoever gets caught, or most likely killed.. It's not the same as whomping someone from a streetlight. They had a crowd waiting to see that.. Yikes. You lose your car for that kinda crap.. and goto jail.
