just throwin this out there because i know i'm not the only dope but...lets say you turn in your plates with the intention of storing your car for the winter...and then one night your boys call ya and tell you about some super secret streetracin event one night...and you toss and turn knowing you shouldnt throw on your boys plate and go race your mustang anyway....DONT DO IT....its very expensive...just a tip....leave the car in the garage

a super secret street racing event....ha ha...sorry can't help but to see paul walkers face. I wouldn't even consider going to a street race event because I wouldn't want to take the chance of the cops taking my car away....Not sure about NYC, but that's what they do in Cali

I dont think anyone really thinks that the movie created that scene, it is pretty obvious it has been around a long time, however, that movie does nothing more than make it look like a bunch of retarded rich kids destroying thier cars with some over the top glamorization and the rediculous claims that a fart cannon and turbo can turn any car into a 10 second car.

Shit....street racing has been around longer then you been pooping in your diapers. Back in the day, they used to race on deserted air strips and closed down air bases and stuff like that. The difference is that today is that it is done by stupid, saggy pants wearing dumb-asses who drive on city streets and highways.

If you have been street racing like a doped-up drug addict, then I hope they take your car away. You don't deserve to have a car or a DL. So grow-up now before you loose your ride, get killed, or kill someone else. Meanwhile the rest of us are paying for all the stupid-asses out there who do this one way or the other.

Race legally....go to a track.

BTW, I don't want to hear one, single stupid comment about "I bet you have stepped-up the gas before" or anything like that. Driving 70 miles per hour is a 65 is WAY different then going to some top-secret event that is really not that secret otherwise you would not know about.

It is fun! it feels great! Its something you can do with yer friends! For the most part you can get away with it consequence free if done in severe moderation, but the more you indulge the more likely yer gonna get fucked in the long run, and sometimes that stuff haunts you for the rest of yer life.

kinda bleak if yer 20 knowing yer gonna have to live with something the next 60 years.

I got an idea, why don't you just find any behavior that you want to do and justify it being ok because some stupid cop showed-up once.

This is an activity that a very small, teeny-tiny part of the population takes part in. Good to see that you are seeing the light, though, even if it is just because you may have gotten into some trouble.

Anyone with any real responsibilities would stay as far away from street racing as possible. Not worth losing your life, losing your house, losing your marriage, losing your car, or even losing your job. I guarentee I would get fired at work if I got caught doing such thing as it would show such poor judgement.
