interestin...but they've been there and done that...i'd be more excited at an official eleanor stang...or official boss model

great... a CAI a tune and springs for 6 grand. Another poor attempt by Ford to avoid using the interesting-because-it's-actually-new tactic and go with the tried and true what'd we do last time trick.

Boo for ford. This is not exciting or anything newly interesting. Build the boss or blow off I say.

Yeah, I'm not impressed at all. 15hp more than the GT? LAME! On another note, I drove a Shelby GT yesterday and was not impressed with the power. It was comfortable to drive and handled really well, but the power production was not anything to write home about.

I'm hoping Ford will bring back the Mach 1 with a 5.4 2v or 4v...Now that will get me excited

i dont want to see a boss or a mach 1. because then there going to sell for like 30-40k, im sick of limited mustangs they need to bring back the cobra.

they just need to realize that the best stangs in history were the ones that were modded up by the owners...and those were all gts...not special edition rich boy toys

what makes you think the Cobra wouldn't be that expensive?....The 03/04 Cobras sold for $30-$35k. The 03/04 mach's sold for $25k-27k new. I do agree they need to figure out how to keep the price down.

The name, and hopefully more significant power than a 3v with a cold air intake and tune like the Shelby GT or Bullitt. I would assume the mach 1 or boss will have either a significantly better 4v than the previous mach's or a 5.4 2v.

As long as Ford keeps the base price of the GT and v-6 down they can get away with charging whatever they want for the special editions.

Lets see which would i rather buy

27k for a 300hp 4v 4.6l V8 Mach 1 with an extra 1,000 RPMS at redline..

31k for a 315hp 3v 4.6l V8 GT with intake upgrade and Foglight Delete.

Gee... doesent takre a genious to see this new Bullet is pretty shitty

Why couldnt they put the 4v V8 in it?

Mach1s don't make alot of TQ until mid RPMs. Comparing the two seems plain silly to me. Its much like comparing a 1995 cobra to a 2005 V6. Why? They are 2 different cars.

Ones an 03-04. The other an 08. The chassis is different, the motor is different. Shoot, there ain't nothing similar between the 2 other then the fact that they are each collector cars.

I see alot more done then the fog light delete and cold air intake. Don't forget about the brake upgrade, suspension upgrade, exhaust upgrade, and styling difference. And lets not forget its NOT a 4-5 year old car, and there will only be 7XXX produced.

overpriced piece of crap. it's plain, ugly, boring, costs too much, and doesnt have enough power. ford needs to give it up.

****... If I had one... I would drive it on weekends only. Leave it stock.

315hp is plenty of power. Its not a race car. I like the way it looks. Very plain, simple. No stupid scoops and wings or any of that other ****.

Greg.... you totally missed my point.

This is a stupid remake. It is nothing more than a very lightly modded GT. And the price difference between an 08GT and an 08 BULLET is about the same as a 03/04GT vs an 03/04 Mach1. However all u get is an intake and tune, vs a 4valve engine.

My comparison with the Bullet Vs Mach1 is that the Mach1 was actually worth spending more money because it had a way better engine.

god do i love that 68 bullet. i all ways wanted to get a 67 or 68 fastback i will some day.
