lol xbox 360 blows ps3 away in everyway..
XBOX LIVE > PS3 ONLINE, you cant even compare xbox live to ps3's online its horrible... friends list suck, voice communication lacks, downloadable content lacks..

360 GAMES > PS3 GAMES and for games dont get me started...... MGS? who cares everything that was suppose to be exclusive to the PS3 is coming to the 360.. so many good games coming out for the 360 its ridiculous especially with the holliday season around the corner like a new sick game every week!

oh ya I own a Wii also and its still better then PS3, PS3 is a flop theyve lowered the price twice already and it hasnt even been out a year yet.. trying to give deals like 5 free blu-ray dvd and etc.. and 2 free games for $399 its junk!

PS3 tried with releasing the 60 gig then xbox came back with the 120 gig console lol then ps3 came back with a 80 gig console lol wtf?

Maybe because the xbox 360 has been out for several years, and most of the people who would buy them already have them? Unless of course, you are referring to total unit sold, in which case I would be shocked to hear that the PS3 has outsold the 360 =O
I know one person who owns a PS3, its a girl, whom's mother works for sony. She hates it, and plays her boyfriends 360 lol

 

I personally love my ps3..but then again...I don't play much these days..as I'm usually @ skool or work or getting shitfaced..

I have to find the extended warranty bullshit from Bestbuy, I'm hoping there's something about free replacement on there.

 

Dang that sucks. I had that happen 2 months ago. it took microsoft 4 weeks to give me a replacement box. If u still have the best buy replacement plan, you will get it replaced with a BRAND NEW one. gotta love that. U gotta find a way to keep your hard drive though.

 

**** the hard drive, I'll put the maps and stuff I downloaded on a friend's memory card. lol, the xbox live stuff is stored elsewhere, atleast that's what I think since you can go to someone elses xbox and put your account on theirs.

But yeah I'm really hoping we got the BB plan......gonna search tomorrow.

 

all of your downloaded/purchased stuff is attached to you live account. Your account can be migrated anywhere, you just have to re-download your stuff to the new box.
Your save files (game progress and stuff like that), on the other hand, need to be moved to your friends memory card so u can hang on to those.
Hope you find that plan! Maybe give them a call, they might be able to find your plan on the computer with your name and address.

 

Let me know how you make out with your warranty stuff pcola. I have fixed about 10 of my friends with the RROD. It'll cost about $30.00 for supplies. It involves remounting the GPU and CPU and the heatsinks.

Or the Wal-mart swap always works just gotta swap the case as well cause they are checkin the serial numbers now.

fvck microsoft is right, they wanted $105 to fix my xbox (i didnt have the "typical RROD"). i had no choice to pay it.

 

Talked to customer service, I send back everything that came with the console except the hard-drive, and they reimburse everything I paid for + taxes. So I should be getting about $430 in a gift certificate from those bastards. Then I'll buy an Elite. suck one best buy!

Anyone have one of those 1 month trial codes for the 360 (that come in the games) that would be kind enough to let me use? Don't really play enough to make me want to buy a 12 month and haven't bought any new games recently. All I've got left is a 48hr one. I think you can make a free account somewhere in the dashboard that lasts a month. I think you you get like a few free months, but you need a different gamertag each tim you make one.

My brother did this while trying to get his 50 in Halo 3.

Im not exactly sure how you do it though.
