cell Phone

Im currently looking into a new cell phone. I provider is AT&T. I was looking into a WIFI Capable phone so i could browse the internet while on campus. Do you know of any phones coming out that has that feature. Keep in mind i dont want anything like the Iphone or At&t tilt since i dont want to pay for the extra stuff, if you know what i mean. Keep in mind i wont be renewing until sometime in march.

Umm I'm not 100% sure, but i think you might want to check out some of the sony ericsson products.

why even attempt to decide now? you said you wont be ready to get one till march and you know by then the whole phone scene will have changed anyway...no way the hot phone now will still be the hot phone by march

exactly. by march of next year all the phones will be different/upgraded.

That iPhone is sweet though.

get the 8525 it has windows mobile they have wifi and a bunch of other goodies, or you can get the iPhone.

yeah ive been doing my research, i just wanted something a little bit more simple since im not going to be using the all of the other fearures. Basically i just wanted a wi fi phone so i could acess the interenet without having a data plan.

Ill just wait till march and see what they have out then. im sure alot of new phones will come out during the holidays so ill be good.

Just because you have a smart phone doesn't mean you have to have a data plan with AT&T. My neighbor has the 8525 and he doesn't have a data plan because pretty much anywhere he goes has wifi.

Either way for an HTML browser capable phone, you will need to shell out some bucks for it. The iphone is pretty cool, but I would wait until the next gen ones come out. I have verizon so I'm waiting for the LG VX10000 in a few weeks. Full touchscreen with verizons way faster internet than AT&T.

My cousin bought a basic iphone clone for 150.00 and he says it works great!

I roll with a Samsung Sync. Its a cool phone and does a hellofa lot more than I need it to! Yes I know its got no browser and all but thats what I got my laptop for!
